I disagree with Sepukku too.Clearly saying the best center in hockey took a step back is what a real penguin fan does, (not to mention Sep would probably suck his dick if asked). He has improved every year hes been in the NHL, he has also been one of the most consistent players in the league since he got into the NHL.
And with the Rangers, Gaborik is himself a young player, and for all we know, his injury problems could be limited to a game or two every month or so. Even playing at what one could assume was 75% Sunday afternoon, he was skating rings around the bruins. When he's healthy he is the most dynamic goal scorer in the NHL, he may be a GAG guy like Ovechkin is, he can score 50 if he plays 70 games, especially with a playmaker like Prospal (who at 1M a year, may be the steal of this decade as far as I can tell) feeding him pucks. Gaborik has averaged .74 goals a game over his career, Ovechkin is around the same.
At 27, Gaborik still has plenty of time to overcome his injuries, his hammy has been fine, Gaborik said himself this is the best his legs have ever felt. Gabby may not play 75 games this year, or he may. But if he does, he has the talent and ability to win a scoring title, you cannot doubt that.
Also, fan voted NHL MVP of the month to be Craig Anderson, and I agree 100%.
