Sepukku, sorry bud, but you're just verbally fellating Goligoski as much as knucklehead Errey and Steigerwald do night to night. It seems like you're downing Letang in an attempt to put Goligoski in a higher light for whatever reason, but the people who actually still pay you any mind have been well aware of your mancrush for Alex since last year. They've both made quite a few mistakes, mostly on the powerplay. Goligoski has fumbled the puck and forced our players to retreat from an offsides quite a few times. They've both made D to D passes that did the same thing because they were off a bit.
Put Letang on the left point and run the Whitney play. I've got the GoGo Mancrush cause I stated before he even played a game in the NHL he'd be a star. I drafted him to my fantasy team last year having never even set foot on NHL ice. And looks what hes developing into. A beast.

Fumbling the puck past the blueline =/= blowing coverage. When he fucks up on the point and Mike Richards zips down the ice to hit a post on a breakaway, I'll say Goligoski fucked up.

    (2) You clearly didn't watch the Phoenix game...
Clearly you didn't watch all the other games...I'm just going to agree to disagree with you since I don't really want this to go on for another page. Though I'll warn you now. If Letang blows up this season and start riding his cock next you can expect to hear it from me lol.

Trust me, I'll never ride the cock of any French-Canadian player. Dupius is a mediocre, easily replacable cog. Fleury is an average goalie who has above-average moments when it counts most and wouldn't be half as popular if it wasn't for every girl 16-29 in Western PA wanting to suck his dick while he rambles on in the ugliest language on Earth about how good that feels, Brad Pitt, and Letang.... Letang in the pros is like a Jew in Saudi Arabia.

An offensive beast for sure, but he could still be a lot better defensively, but that's just my opinion. He's not a big body and that will work against him, but what he lacks in size he makes up in speed and he's able to pinch players away from the puck decently.

And no, fumbling the puck past the blueline obviously isn't equal to being out of position and losing your man, but it's still a responsibility they, as defensemen, have. And they both blow it quite a bit. Your expectations of losing your man being acceptable once or twice a year is fucking retarded, too. Once or twice every few games, sure. But once or twice a year? C'mon man. Your boy Goligoski has already done that, but you're still dick-riding and bashing Letang because he's French-Canadian.

And let it be said, despite being easily replaceable, Dupuis has been one of the few players that has shown any heart these last few games. He's a consistent player, even if that consistency means he's not an incredible player. He and Kennedy are a lot alike in spirit, Dupuis is just the defensive one, Kennedy is the offensive.

Oh, and to Brill: I wouldn't mind trading Staal. I bash him a lot but I know he's good, he just has a lot of bad moments. The reason I'd support his trade is not to get rid of a trash player (which he's not), but because I'd like to see a legit winger for Malkin someday, and Staal is easily at least a second-line center on another team.

I can't see Jordan Staal ever being a #1 center. He'd have to undergo a metamorphosis more astounding than those kooky caterpillars changing into beautiful butterflies. Hes very talented in some regards, but if I were a GM, I wouldn't want my scoring revolving around him.

And I'm not bashing Letang cause he's french-Canadian. I'm bashing him cause I think hes overrated and even at his best hes only our 3rd best defensemen, regardless of how you look at it.

I do have a positive bias towards American players just cause I love my country and 9/11 changed everything and beer and trucks that get 10 miles per gallon and I'm patriotic, but mainly cause I like seeing the game blossom in America and the American Olympic squad actually hopefully being competitive this year.

    You are riding fleury's cock

and just before you edit the posts

    RE YOU FOR REAL!

Fleury's five hole has massively improved over time, and hes cat quick like that cat in the one movie where they're all homeless and he goes dancing through the construction site. Not to mention hes lights out in shootouts. Lemme cite some amazing saves for you:

--Game 5 against Detroit, 2008. Save of the YEAR.
--Flyers, Jeff Carter, April 2009. Jeff must've still be seeing Fleury's toe in his dreams. The save was so wonderful, infact, that it cured Abraxas' foot fetish. Before? He was like the dude in Mr. Deeds. After? [Comparatively] normal, functioning, contributing member of local dirty Philadelphian society.

I can't see Jordan Staal ever being a #1 center. He'd have to undergo a metamorphosis more astounding than those kooky caterpillars changing into beautiful butterflies. Hes very talented in some regards, but if I were a GM, I wouldn't want my scoring revolving around him.
Now this I'll talk about. Staal could be a number one center in the league. But not yet. Staal is slowly transforming into a power forward. Look at the stereotypical power forwards in the league, past and present. Just throwing a few names out here. Todd Bertuzzi, John LeClair, Dustin Brown, Ryan Malone. They are prime examples of power forwards. And if you look at their career statistics, they didn't really come into their own until they had been in the league for a few years.

I feel that if Staal's ability to get it together eventually matches his size and his obvious physical talents, he could be a dominate power forward. I'm not talking John LeClair in his prime by any means. But I could see him putting up 30 goals and 70 points a year. He can do that right now if he wasn't third line.

The problem is that right now in this stage of his development he really should be a second line center instead of a third liner. He's put up solid numbers while playing on the third line. He really gets very few opportunities to play with Sid or Geno. So the majority of the time, the points he's getting are with guys like TK and Cookie.

Staal is kind of in a bad situation to be honest. Most teams in the league would be happy to put him in as their second line center. Put the kid on the powerplay with Sid and Geno. Plunk that 6'4" ass right in front of the net and let the kid reap a little havoc down there.

Long story short. Power forwards always seem to have a bit of a longer maturation period compared to other players. A lot of has to do with age. Most young guys aren't playing with much of an edge when they get started. A power forward needs that edge. Staal is becoming more physical. If he can start playing with a bit more of an edge, he very well may force the Penguins to put him up there with the big guys.

I only wish Staal would actually stand in front of the net on a regular basis, he'd seriously be a lot more productive. That's another reason I could see him on a second line elsewhere -- if he had better puck carrying wingers instead of grinders, he wouldn't be needed to power the puck into the zone (and ultimately end up losing it due to coverage). If he had better puck carrying wingers, he could get to the front of the net sooner and get those dirty goals.

I think he's scared/reluctant to go there. Pussy. Fuckin pussy, I'd be in his face calling him all sort of sissy names all day long if I was his teammate/the coaching staff. I'd make him hellbent on proving hes a man and getting rough in front of the net.

Maybe Eric and Mark made him stand in front of the net in their backyard rink and shot pucks at him when he was little. Emotional scars, yanno.

Nah. How many 21 year old kids do you know that are comfortable enough to get up in someone's face? Look at Sep for example. If I got up in Sep's face he would back down. It's nothing against Sep. Just most white suburbanite kids don't have that fight mentality. You've got to grow into it. Most young guys in the NHL are just happy enough being there. They are still experiencing the entire NHL.

Give them a few years and it's like a switch gets turned on. Malone is a prime example. His first year he was the only bright spot on the Penguins. He struggled the next two years before finally understanding what was needed of him. He became that physical net presence. He dropped the gloves when he needed to stand up for a teammate. I'm not sure if I can see Staal fighting. But I definitely see him taking steps to be that physical presence in front of the crease.

Once again. Patience is a virtue. I just kind of laugh when I wonder what kind of production Staal would be getting if he had wingers that were just a little bit more skilled. We saw what kind of production he could put out when he was lined up Kunitz. That's with a decent second line winger.

To be fair I'm from Chicago, and just live in CO right now. And I'm sure I mentioned the ass goal in response to the game 5 save last year.

I take pride in the fact that I didn't jump on the Blackhawks bandwagon (which is even bigger than the Pens bandwagon in the past 2 years). My family is from Detroit so I was raised on the Wings from a young age, always had red gloves playing youth hockey because of it.

I really wish I had played hockey instead of football lol... too bad Kentucky didn't know what the fuck hockey is. Probably would've in high school if I didn't have back surgery at 13 since I lived up here. I wanna be a front net presence with my godly 6'5" frame!

This is why I will have only manly men as children, they'll make up for my parents' mistake. No football, just hockey.

Only cause I question the stability of anyone who hangs out at the Beehive / Slacker. Most are okay people, but some of them you just gotta wonder what they got coarsing through their veins. But I'm a pretty scrappy kid, wrestling team / deck hockey league / NAVY Seal aspirations (before my pancreas kicked the bucket on me).
