I personally love Leafs fans. They are so brutal in their criticism of the team. Not like idiot Canadiens fans who cling blindly to the sinking ship no matter what. Not you though Rata. You're cool. You're the exception to the rule.

How can you presume such things?

I'm a big Canadiens fan and I keep on endlessly whining aboot how much they suck this year. (Was close to weeping at their last game actually)

Brill I'm pushing on Staal cause I got 4 goalies and I am looking to make a [if at all possible, 1-for-1] trade for a good skater. Your team seemed to be the weakest in net and Staal is who I picked. Your skaters are a pretty sad little bunch - the only ones I would welcome other than Staal are Parise and Kane and with them being healthy & on successful teams, they are obviously too much to ask for for just a goalie, as valuable and hard to come by as they may be. The likes of Kevin Bieksa or Joffery Lupul aren't really upgrades for my team - I can find someone of basically identical impact in the FA/Waivers.

As a habs fan i hate Montreal fan with a passion sometimes, the fans love to bash for nothing the nashville lost was humiliating i agree, but some people had the idiocy to say that we could've won if Halak was in front of the net.

Price litteraly "stole the game" and i don't believe the fact that "they play better if halak is there".

Montreal fan are really pissing me off for stupid comments like that (i know other team's fan say the same thing but i didn't go outside of MTL to watch a game so )

Why do most people from Quebec put Qc or some variant of it, whether it be QC, qc, qC, etc., in their gamertags/names/handles/whatever? I see it all the time on NHL 10, and even a lot in Diablo 2. I asked one random guy who had Qc in his name why everyone from Quebec wants to advertise it, but he took offense to it I think. Is there some government mandate requiring it? Did you break the law?

In Quebec we have 2 Quebec The town and the province

usually QUE = Town while QC = Province.

Also in Canada when you make letters or you wanna look for province you use 2 letters

AL = Alberta
BC = British Columbia
QC = Quebec

etc

Also if they put it in the gamertag it's usually just because they are proud of their Province, which brings back the old Quebec Separatist thing

Just imagine it as all the variants of Squall Cloud or Sephiroth in FFXI

Well, I play good defense. Scoring I sometimes struggle since on offline I prefer auto-shot aim, but I'm getting better. Record is like 36-23-8 with 9 shutouts. I will gladly play anyone on the forum, provided you're not a laggy faggle who makes playing defense next to impossible.

Also, Pens fuck yeah. Mark Eaton on the power play point, fuck yeah!

I'm a shutdown defenseman for my online club, highest we've been in top 25 in the world, we're at 74 now though EA SPORTS World - Club Overview. Too bad I'm on 360, otherwise we could have a defensive battle. My true passion on NHL10 is shootout though, probably because my BAP would never get a breakaway, ever, and if I did, he's not fast enough compared to the rest of the people online.

Just asking. Considering you haven't posted in here before yesterday I find it amusing when someone questions what I presume about a given topic. And Rata is correct, there is a one fan per team limit to this thread. Unless you're one of the umpteen people who live in Pittsburgh that post here.

Has anyone else encountered a bug in NHL10 where (in BAP mode) Wins/Losses/etc... aren't added to the goaler of the team? The starting goaler shows something like 55 games played, 18 wins, 10 losses, 0 shutouts. I do the Sim Game and only play the 3rd period, and 75% of the time it doesn't add a win/loss/SO.

BAP is for faggles. Canadians suck, they shouldn't have gotten rid of Kovalev. I can't win a shootout, I'm 0-for lifetime in them, whether they're after OT in a vs. game or I try to practice and just play shootout mode. I don't even understand the controls for being a goalie, people do these dumb little tricks like diving out on the goalies side at you and stuff and I don't know how to do anything.

I've only played one or two games as a goalie and neither times did I sim anything at all, so I've never seen whatever you're talking about.

And Sepukku, if you're not playing BAP online, you're missing out on a majority of the game. Might as well just play NHL 08. As demonstrated by my amazing shootout skills in the video above with Zetterberg, you just have to anticipate the goalies diving around like that (only if you're playing a human) because it's just the easy way out. Almost everyone in actual shootout mode does it online, it's ridiculous, but I can only imagine their faces when it doesn't work, and it makes me feel good. Real good.
