So I'm liking some of the games tonight and thought I'd get some opinions on these bets.

Seriosly rata? I don't follow them much but they seem to be terrible right now. That was the one I was most sure of.

Yeah I wasn't sure if NY was going to be able win tonight, I might not bet on that one but I'm going with Atlanta for sure. Carolina has lost two so far, so we'll see what happens.

Lots of teams have more points than the Wings, they are going out of their way to outplay opponents and still lose.

Also thank you refs for blowing plays dead early and disallowing goals to remind me it is possible to hate people more than Sepukku.

being a Rangers fan is probably the most painful in my life that I consistently put myself through, and by choice.

This team is just so bad right now, I can't even fathom how this was the same team that opened the season 7-1.

It's setting in that this is going to be a transition season for the team, and I like how they're set up with the likes of Dubinsky, Callahan, Anisimov, Del Zotto, Staal, and Sanguinetti...but this team has a lot of things to figure out for the future.

One of Redden, Roszival, or Drury NEEDS to go, one of those contracts needs to be off the books. Most likely is Roszival, and Redden has been better this season, but if there is any opportunity to move that contract...it just has to happen. This team is lacking so badly in secondary scoring and legitimate TALENT throughout their forwards, they can't afford to have so much money locked in guys who aren't playing up to their contracts.

of "bubble" guys...I'd say they're Lisin and Higgins...I'm a fan of Higgins, while his veins are filled with snake venom of epic potency...Lisin, has become the new Dawes and Prucha sans his rookie season.

My next two games to attend are Monday Vs. Pens, and next Sunday Vs. Detroit...I expect both to be fucking ugly.

One of each tonight, one PP goal waved off because Cleary was on the edge of the crease and "the goalkeeper could not do his job" except he never touched him, and one play blown dead quickly that ended up in the back of the net. The quick whistle wasn't horrible because the puck was tough to see but is one of those things that on replay looks like "we could have had a goal."

edit so it doesn't look like I'm just bitching about the refs taking the game away: The Wings let the Flames have 3 easy goals. All 3 were caused by the Wings being lazy about clearing, possibly combined with bad bounces but those things happen. Sharper play in all 3 of those instances and likely the game would have to be won in extra time. In positive news, there is not a lot of positive news for the Wings right now.

Reffing in a lot of games this year have been terrible. They seem to favor one of the teams in the game, every single game. I can't even begin to explain how many terrible penalties have been called against the Habs and how many penalties don't even get called against the opposing team when they've slashed/boarded/hooked one of our players...

There was also an instance where Price was on top of the puck, the play should have been whistled dead, yet it continued until an opposing player kept pokechecking under his pads and it went in...

Wow my bets yesterday went so bad. 1 out of 4 right, Rata's picks on the other hand were 3 for 4. Nice job rata.

Also I totally agree the reffing this year has been terrible.
