Had to laugh at this:

The President delivered some remarks yesterday in which he noted that the Caps/Pens playoff series, "showed everybody how enthusiastic our hockey fans are also here in the nation's capital." No one in the audience shouted out "You lie!"

The delicious tears from all the 'Skins fans will be gone by December, and hopefully this might not be such a joke this season (until the playoffs start of course.) Can't believe how close the start of the season is getting, I'm actually anxious about our goalie situation and Fleischmann's phantom blood clot injury.

Bought NHL10 today on impulse/peer pressure. Pretty happy with it so far, not a single player has frozen compared to NHL09.


Anyone have any time preferences for draft time/day? I'm thinking after 9 PM EST or PST, sometime when everyone with a reasonable schedule will be available.

I can do 9pm est or pst any days but thursday or friday. Do I need a yahoo email to sign up?

I'm stoked for the regular season to start soon, I want to see how the teams are all going to end up.

Also, Ratatapa I don't think Carbo will ever be in a segment with Cherry. If he ever was I could see it being highly humourous.

The Erikkson - Richards - Neal line previewed today looks pretty sick. Our forward depth looks really good, just worried about our backend.

Tuesday and Wednesday I can't do until about 11 EST, others days are pretty much entirely open.

Also Wings open preseason with a win, though it doesn't mean a whole lot when teams are only playing with half of a real lineup.

Ok we now have 9 members signed up for BG Fantasy Hockey, I'm looking towards a weekend 9pm PST or 9pm EST draft, potentially next Friday. This is all tentative still however.
