The stories coming out of Philadelphia right now, regarding Richards' behavior and leadership, his feud with Pronger, Briere being insubordinate, are staggering.

(Also, MetalGods did not quit - he just made changes to his roster on Dec 1st and Dec 4th, I don't know why theyre not starting goalies though.)

This one is mainly how big of a dipshit Richards is and how Pronger doesn't like him or his supposed lack of leadership. I'm looking for the one where Briere basically says "Me and Pronger have been saying this blahblahblah but we shouldn't have to be the ones to say that." I belive it was on NHL.com, but they just changed the main article there on the story to "Players take the blame for Stevens' dismissal" so I'm trying to find it.

Daniel Carcillo just took 29 penalty minutes (cross checking, instigating, fighting, misconduct, game misconduct) at once against Washington and now the Capitals PP is just having a field day on the Flyers.

God damn Datsyuk is fllthy in shootouts, too other than him and Zetterberg no one else is very good. Bertuzzi fakes Brodeur out to get an open net and misses.

Oh well, at least we're not the Leafs or Flyers.

But what really matters, after the Rangers grinded out a much needed road win in Buffalo lastnight, can they build off it tonight @ MSG against a struggling Detroit team?

4 game suspension for Carcillo for that incident. Not really sure why, the only thing I can think of are the cross-checks before the fight, but that's what penalties are for.

edit: Fast-time changing of MSG from the basketball court to rink is pretty cool. Amazing that they had a basketball game earlier in the day and then hockey at night.

Missed this cuz I was out the weekend, but I've been on my fantasy every day! Craig Anderson got hurt but gave me a shutout before that, I sat him and he promptly gave up 4 goals a night after until he got hurt and didn't regret it. Varly didn't have a game until a few days into our matchup week. I sat Varly after he posted a 2.0 to make sure i didn't screw my numbers for the week.

still stoked about last night, Antti Niemi continues to be the fucking man every time he's in, it'd be nice to see him get more ice time so we could see how he is playing consecutive games, but the fact that he can come into Pittsburgh after 3 weeks of not playing and come within 90 seconds of a shutout is impressive, with or without Crosby in the fold.

Insert quote about reliability of Colin Campbell. Carcillo got nabbed on it because Bradley didn't even have his hands up to defend himself yet. He was still holding his stick. Watch the replay and Carcillo essentially sucker punched him. I'm not exactly a huge fan of the Caps, but Carcillo crossed the line. You want to fight someone and impress your new coach, wait until the man actually has his mittens off. Sooner or later Carcillo is going to end up really hurting someone. To be honest Bradley got lucky he didn't get injured. If the NHL wants to stop idiotic things like this Colin Campbell needs to be gone. Period. There is no same punishment with that guy. It's always different.

It amazes me that Bettman continues to keep the guy around.
