Virtual PC is free program btw, didnt need to sign up for it. You can get the Mac version @ Office for Mac - Easy Access to Downloads and Updates | Mactopia Browse to the bottom and select Virtual PC.

Thanks Seph, I actually downloaded onto my brothers laptop and then transfered it over via USB key, this shit is a lot more frustrating than I thought it was going to be >.> lol

*edit* So I tried installing it, and the program won't open, keeps "closing unexpectedly" and the version on the website, when I try to install says "Virtual PC cannot be installed on this computer".

Does anyone know a good place to download the Windows 7 Pro x64 RTM ISO? I saw someone asked earlier in the thread with no response :X

So I finally got around to actually looking at all the software and buying stuff and lol..

I just 'bought' 40 pieces of software.
Just the OSs right now; XP, Vista, 7, Servers, SQL, Exchange, and averaging at around $200 a piece, so a bit more, some less lol.. $8000 worth of OSs for $19, wow. This deal is almost as good as the actual MSDN.

Btw, for those who dont know, you get a different key with each different version.
For example, XP: XP86, XP64, XP86SP1, XP86SP2, XP86SP3, those are all nearly identical versions of XP, and now you have 5 keys instead of 1. You can do this with Vista, and the Servers too.

Now to actually download all of this, the keys are the important part.

Well shit, I finally got XP SP2 downloaded and mounted the ISO onto a DVD, I load up bootcamp and I plop in the DVD. I click the install OS from DVD, it restarts my computer but for some reason the XP ISO doesn't load up, just a blank screen with a blinking underscore. My luck keeps getting worse and worse with this damn partition. I didn't put the whole folder Folder that the ISO was in and I'm thinking that's where I'm going wrong, nothing else was in the folder, just the ISO, so when I burned the disc I just selected the ISO within the folder. I think I should erase the DVD and maybe try burning the entire folder instead of just the ISO file within. Even though online guides said to select the ISO to mount. Rawr.

You don't burn the disc so it has the ISO file on it, you convert the ISO to a burned disc. ISO is the container that describes the content on the disc and holds it. You have to actually burn with a program that will pull the files out of the ISO and burn the disc as it describes. I use Alcohol 120% for this, but there are other ISO burning programs out there, like ISO Buster.

i just noticed that.I typed in all my old highschool info and the page went back the page from earlier(please wait 24hrs etc.) right away i still dont think there checking if the info is real just want to weed out all the lazy people maybe?

tho i think i got my old SID number wrong and it still went back to the opting in page so most likly not checking but ill let you know what comes of it

It'll get back to the previous page once you enter your info, even if you fill em w/bullshit. However, info check may be included in the 24-hour process.

Again, if you are not a student you'll be violating EULA, which isn't really too much different from torrenting it.
