    Xbox/ps3 movie watching

Looking for a solid way to re encode x264 and xvid movies that will work 100%
I'd rather the Xbox360 version but either would work i guess.
The methods ive tried so far have either not worked(360) or have shitty syncing(PS3)
Cant find anything except afterdawn guides or really old ones.

    Hope someone can help.

For PS3 the best way I found was using ps3mediaserver to transcode pretty much every video file you throw at it, I use it for mkv files mostly. It also allows you to copy the file to the PS3 hard drive already transcoded and converted to work.

Xbox 360, I don't know, but you could probably do the same with a media server like Tversity.

For 360 I use Tversity as mentioned for on-the-fly transcoding and it has been dependable for everything including anime with subtitles so far.

Thx I already use tversity but i guess i didnt even realize it would encode on the fly. PS3mediaserver worked pretty well. Just some buffering issues. That's probably more of my pc's fault tho.

thx for the info tho guys.
