    Because I'm a sentimental fuck, it's my first character and I want it to always be my character, I've put 123 days, 13 hours, 43 minutes, and 53 seconds of playtime into this character, I have amazing gear for every spec in PVP and PVE, and I've always managed to make due even in the face of overpowered classes wrecking my shit.

    A mage got into an argument with a death knight on the arenajunkies forums about how retarded faceroll the DK/Druid 2s comp is. To prove his point, the mage leveled a DK and got to 2700(easily Gladiator range) in hateful gear, which is the 2nd tier of the 4 available tiers of PVP gear at the time. So a skilled player can play a fucked up OP class in scrub gear and smash his face on the keyboard and get Gladiator.

    Sure, maybe I could re-roll and do better, but there's no satisfaction in that. Then I'd just be another fotm rerolling scrubtard.

    Yeah, spriests were unique and valuable, and then they gave that unique and valuable ability(replenishment) to hunters, mages, warlocks, and paladins.

    I wish they would, they've already made specific arena functions, such as replenishment only affecting the person that activates it and not his whole party or water not full kicking in until you've been drinking for a few seconds.

    But they're never going to fucking balance anything. They made the Death Knight class when WotLK came out and advertised it as their HERO CLASS and it will always be OP and every fucking class in the game has MS, Snares, Escapes, and interrupts except for priests. We have a couple extra tools as a shadow priest instead of a discipline priest, but it doesn't change anything because a warrior will always have berserk up before your fear is up and his charge is always off CD before your fade is and for every one fucking tool we have, every other class has ten to counter it and even if for some crazy reason they leave you alone, it takes you five spells to do as much damage as one spell from another class.

    I have to do 1.5 second cast VT, instant SW: P, 1.5 second MB, instant SW: D. With global cooldowns between, that's 6 seconds to do 7K damage and then after that I can only do 1.5K damage a second spamming MF and having my dots ticking.

    A warlock on the other hand has to cast 3 second immolate, and then each 3 second spell that he casts after that will hit for about 12K

    Mages - Semi-limited mana, evocate restores 60% health and mana, mana gem to restore mana, blink to teleport 20 yards forward and break stuns, root, pet root, when you break through their ice shield you get rooted, every time you attack them you get snared, every time they attack you you get snared, immunity to everything for 10 seconds, spammable polymorph, only class that can eat in arena to restore health, counterspell interrupts spellcasting for 8 seconds every 24 seconds, mirror images and water elementals that are constantly spamming snaring attacks on you, cold snap resets all cooldowns on their abilities

    Rogues - Infinite energy system, stealth(who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to make a fucking class invisible!?), cloak of shadows clears all magic debuffs and gives 90% magic resistance for 6 seconds, 50% melee dodge for 15 seconds, 5 second interrupt every 10 seconds, can kill cloth, leather, and mail wearers in one stun lock, can vanish into stealth, blind and sap are uncleansable CC, every auto attack applies a snare, mortal strike, and slow casting debuff, preparation resets all cooldowns

    Fuck, it's too late man, I was supposed to be asleep hours ago, I'll finish this shit later.

    Basically everything is OP as fuck.

    think I just sucked balls/team was horrible but as a pally healing, going up against a priest makes that immunity null. also our 5k FoL crits don't do shit, specially against fucking hunters/warriors. MS is bullshit

    I think being a healer in general for arena blows fucking ass. unless you're a tree.

    How bad did they nurf mage? Back in the day I was doin' pretty good in PvP as arch mage. Specially against DKs. Shit was funny. They would grab me and I would just blink away, slow them, and barrage them for 3k+ a shot. God I miss that shit.

    Why would you save PoM for poly in pvp? That gives them full health. If I need to escape I have more shit at my disposal than poly (Not to mention I'm losing like 10k+ damage, fuck that noise.) Fuck, I can go invisible, why would I poly to gtfo?

    It's similar you just don't see the huge numbres. Mage is stil pretty fucking bursty. Did either of you watch the one krye posted the other day? That'll show you more like what they are like now and also excellent use of pom poly.
