If Joe Kennedy decides not to run, I'd think Rep. Lynch or McGovern would have the inside track here. Schilling's an interesting case though - when you listen to the interview he gave he comes off sounding like an independent or moderate Repub in the style of Lincoln Chafee, but from what I've read he's close to his roots in Arizona which means he's like that idiot John McCain.

While Schilling is a hero of Red Sox Nation, Massachusetts is overwhelmingly democrat and Mr.Mouth is a ultra conservative Republican. There's no way he ever sniffs office in that state.

Though I would love to see what happens when it comes out that he did steroids. Will he have to question himself, running back and forth between the witness stand and the bench? haha!

I don't know anything about his politics, just that he's a decent guy. And I guess if your typical basement dwelling conservative finds something they enjoy and puts together a business out of it, sure. He owns the production company. Intending to do it all himself, because he doesn't want any interference from the major publishers.

I'll have to admit he's one of the more articulate conservatives I know of.. that said if he turns out to be a real wingnut I'll be kinda disappointed. And his involvement in with the Sox and in the gaming world can be used to garner votes, of course. People are that blind/dumb, even in Mass.

I was more intrigued by the fact that when it came out in some magazine which server he was on, he made a post on forum server and answered questions there (for like 30 some pages), and talked to people in game etc., and was a pretty nice and very reasonable guy in general.


But yeah, the fact that it was all involving an MMO was cool, too.


I mean, hell, he had the wits about him to fend off the zerg when people noticed the mana/5 trinket on his hunter by asking for gear and spec advice, that's more than most people could manage tossed into that kind of situation.
