1 - likely on mobs/in situations where feeding TP is an issue since THF "TP given:damage given" ratio is pretty terrible.

2 - Yeah, it would be. Improvements I'd make would be to use a Blitz Ring over Rajas and the new +1% haste Shield if you can get your hands on it. M Kris would be the weapon of choice without Mandau (Mandau vs MKris is slightly harder to think about since Souleater is halved when subbed etc).

Yeah, whoops. Bit of a reflex reaction there; Bloodbead Ring then.

I camped bloodbead a couple times but ultimately laziness and sleepiness got the best of me. Ideal HP items would be BQ, bloodbead ring, cassie, and gigant. There are other decent pieces but the 5% thing takes away incentive. I used bloodbead earring but now use brutal (no m.kris). I used absorbing shield once or twice. Airy buckler sounds good (we found a use for it!). My souleater set mostly collects dust :/

Raen is right in that subtle blow is all about optimizing that ratio of damage:TpFed. For this reason, I sometimes wonder if replacing haste/acc for attack/str would be tantamount to using SB as well. Here's some stuff on subtle blow and some more on equips.

There are many example of when to use a subtle blow DPS set. Make the set and you'll get lightbulbs when playing and find yourself coming up with creative ways to use it. Mobs like gears are a good example. At khimaira and you can wait for a tp move, run in and sa feint, then build a couple rounds of TP before darting out. If you co-tank anything (achamoth, chariots, sky NM's) and hate isn't on you, you can use it. :: For subtle blow and evasion, you'll find uses for a lot of difficult stuff you want to fight/tank. After every bird camp meripo, I have a tradition of soloing a wivre. So what you do is melee in SB/eva and if your timers look in danger, throw up max eva for awhile. Then switch back. It's important because you really don't want it to TP. That same concept can be applied to a lot of situations.
