there's so many stereotypes about being born gay or people discovering they're gay or turning gay or whatever, but it seems partly convenient to me

I mean, why are all the ugly girls lesbians? This is not to say all lesbians are ugly but.. anyway. And why are so many gays and lesbians victims of molestation? This is probably a skewed statistic, and perhaps it's the % of currently straight people that have been victims as well but... I dunno. these thoughts/doubts plague my mind when it really comes down to it.


All of this sounds awful, I know.

I have gay friends, I've been to gay clubs, hell, I sucked a dick once lol. I have zero problems with gay people; if I were in a position of authority or hiring, I wouldn't decide not to hire, or worse fire someone because of their choices. But I dunno... gay jokes are kinda funny to me.. and I struggle with completely respecting their choice. I'm baffled at the idea that someone could be unattracted to breasts etc.


I don't think less of any gay person, but I think in the end I have trouble with buying why they are gay. I don't care if they adopt kids, I don't care if they're in the military, vote, i don;t want anything different for them, including acceptance or treatment. The long and short of all this is.. I secretly can't completely take them seriously.



I hope this doesn't sound as awful as it seems to me, I'm just trying to be horribly honest, and ideally correct some of my ignorances. I had this discussion with my new roomate, who is also a pretty cool, downtown, chill sorta guy, very liberal minded, listens to cool music, has no problems with gay people. But when I sorta dropped this bomb his face lit up in surprise and was like.. yeah me too.

People won't ever completely ever understand another human being. There are some people who go through phases and are gay because its cool or for acceptance. But then you have people who have known all their life. Like when did you decide that you were going to be straight during your lifetime. It is just to difficult to say who is for real and who isn't. Also not taking gays seriously is probably due to the horrible gay who are all in your face gay. Those types of people are frowned upon by the, dare I say it, normal gay community.

Maybe it's a placebo effect, you don't really care to think about all the straight people who are still straight even though they have a history of rape/abuse/molestation, but you hone in on people who are homosexual and do?

The whole all lesbians are ugly thing is far from true, and most gay guys I know I wish I could blindfold them and give them some vag and convert them or something, but it's not something that's going to happen.

It's the same thing around I guess. While I agree with you, as a woman I love a nice set of tits and I can't see how anyone doesn't like them, I'm sure there are gay people who can't see why you obsess over fleshy bags of fat all day that serve no purpose to you but to feed your children someday, which probably won't happen anyway because breastfeeding is so frowned upon these days.

I guess it's hard to understand if you don't actually want to understand. But at this point I don't really look at gay people any differently than I do anyone else because in the end people are people, and whether you like dicks or vags or both as either sex doesn't really change who you are, sex is sex is sex and if it feels good who the fuck cares.

The counter to that idea is that everyone is born bisexual and choosing to like women is a choice. With any perceived choice that would lie in the eyes of the beholder as to whom is right and as to whom is wrong.

I dont have a problem whatsoever with gay people or their vampire like lust, as a matter of fact more power to them. I can honestly tell you that I have not once thought about sucking off another guy or just been like "damn, that nigga is fine" and asked for his digits. We are all wired differently, some people are afraid of heights, others like me are adrenaline junkies.

Some people have severe learning disabilities, other like me enjoy reading and learning Astrophysics in their spare time while other niggas are at the club. I mean its all about how you are hard wired deep down is what I have found. I mean some people are naturally timid while others are leaders, gay and straight is something that you cant be "choose" to be, it is genetic.

Everyone here can think back to when you were 5 or 10 and you will find instances where even though you had no concept of sex or fags you knew what you liked and why you liked it. Ive always loved bitches, got in trouble in 1st grade for showing a chick my 1" dick. Girls have always turned me on, no exception. That's just me. Very few traits you have coming out of the womb is by choice. Think about how some are predisposed to being Alcoholics, Addicts and Bi polar. Gay is not a disease, im not saying that lol. But what it certainly is not is a choice.
