    Walmart Tag

    Walmart Tag:

Get a few friends (drunk is best) and head to Walmart.

Everyone fans out and picks an isle.

You then take turns shouting out one of your friends' names and hurling random merchandise over the isles.

Last one to get kicked out wins.

I have a confession. My Father works for Wal-Mart, he is the Property Manager for the Realty Company. He is the guy that visits towns and cities, and buys the properties for Wal-Mart to build a store. He is constantly traveling all over the world. He is basically the guy who is destroying small businesses.

    Your dad is an asshole.

We got a walmart in our town about 10-15 years ago I think. It is unbelievable how many small local businesses that place has killed. Kinda fucking sad. Even Roses, fucking Roses used to be the shit when I was a kid, now it's just garbage and barely surviving and that's a chain. All the mom and pop places, hardware stores, everything, just gone. I'd say 75% of local business went under due to that shitty walmart people can't resist.

My mom lost her job in a textile factory she had for 25 years, and now works in the walmart deli for insurance purposes where they treat her like complete shit and have her working shit like thanksgiving and mother's day while the 16 year old teeny boppers get the day off because some computer in Arizona makes the schedule for Virginia.

That doesn't mean the Canadian dollar is doing well globally, just well in regards to the American dollar.

I guess that 50 cent drop was a bit of an exageration. It was more like 25-35 cents.

My Father started this job almost 10 years ago, so I'm not sure if he was the guy that opened that store.

Your father is in a prime position to strike at the heart of the beast. Start buying up land in the middle of quicksand pits, swaps, and volcanoes...

Eh, it's not really his fault anyways, he's just doing a job. I just think it's sad what it does to local business, really sad, especially in a small country community like mine.

Yeah everyone pretty much has to work at Wal-Mart once it opens, which can be a good thing for towns that have high unemployment rates.

I asked him about his job, and if he hated it. He said, "Nope, I just hate the traveling, and having to babysitting stores until they are opened and full running, but the money is awesome"

Its hard to argue against making alot of cash.

Well it's not that hard to argue against it, but I'm not in the mood so...

But I'm sure he's just taking orders from his boss.

idk about the unemployment thing. seems to kill more jobs than it creates from what I can tell.

I think most studies say that Wal-Mart creates about 100 new jobs in a community at opening, but that drops to about 50 after it has been opened for a few years.

See South Park "Something Wal-Mart This Way Comes". It shows what happens when Wal-Mart invades a small town. And how people even if they hate it shop at Wal-Mart.
