Yeah after I said that I thought I remembered finding a gun in our co-op game last night with a critical multiplier down in the features box, but it's morning and I'm blaming it on that.
So I got to play with Mikey Neumann (Gearbox employee, Creative Director) because of the whole Twitter thing. If anyone needs the Tell Two Friends achievement, just message me and we can jump into a co-op game. GT is Qalbert.
Does anyone know if there's a way to set your active quest, so that your marker/mission counter is set to the appropriate mission you want to do? My group ran into the problem last night that we set took on a whole lot of them, but couldn't figure out how to set the main one.
go to your menu and go over a couple times you will find mission log, scroll to the one you want and hit A. (think the host/player 1 has to do it)
Qal tonite your givin me the tell 2 friends achievement k? K.
Ah okay, I forgot everything is centered around the host and I know for a fact he wasn't trying.
Yea if you're playing online, whoever is hosting the game has to be the one to change the main quest. If you're in single player, you simply highlight the quest you want and press A.
Does anyone know if/how/when/where you can increase your inventory limit and if you can eventually get a storage locker? Booklet seemed to imply you could increase your limit and it's kind of sucking to not be able to store the cool guns/shield/etc I'm finding.

My group hasn't left the Aird Wastelands yet, so I can't say, but I'm sure it will open up as part of the main missions like grenades and weapon shops did.
claptraps are side missions, occasionally you find a broken one lying around, you find a repair kit, he ups your backpack by three slots. I know there was one in sledge's safehouse (i think that's it anyways)
EDIT: List of areas that have claptraps

Where the hell is the tool box in Sledge's Safehouse, i've been looking for 30mins now lol.
Np, lol, took me like 10 minutes, I was like wtf and durka durka, was right on the ceiling.
This game is punishing out of coop, as well, and when it is done Coop good luck getting any good weapons. Everyone zergrushes boss drops.
Oh, and the one thing that pisses me off about this game is that it sucks.
