Me and a friend are trying to decide if it's better to buy guns or wait to find them in missions. My opinion is buy them because you don't know when you will find a better one off monsters but he claims why buy when you can just find them off slain enemies. What does everyone else think?

If the gun for sale has stats/modifiers you like, then buy it. You can't guarantee you will ever see that particular one again, due to the 87 bajillion combos.
