We need a Post your gear for Borderlands and the eleventybillion guns.

So far, i haven't run across super amazing, but I haven't had much time to really get into it. Some of the shit I'm seeing posted on the GBX and Xbox forums is pretty sweet.

I found my first "NM" the other night just trudging around. That was seriously unexpected. At least he stood there and just took shots to the face and died like a good dog... (oops, guess that was part of a quest. that's what I get for drunk gaming lol)

Hit Level 50 yesterday, but I don't feel like finishing the game again to get everything leveled to 50-52 and for the good stuff. Perhaps later...

Is there any point to buying the game if it's free to play online? (PC Version that is.) I did one of those digital downloads on Gamestop and it is supposed to have been released already but I still haven't gotten any notice about being able to download.

Also does anyone know if you can level a character offline and play that game character online, or is it like Diablo II where you have offline and battle.net characters.

Mouse sensitivity in this game sucks. Also the POV is tiny. Also sucks.

The rest of the game is pretty awesome though.

You can level playing single player and jump into multi-player no problem.

Tried changing the channel back and forth? My PS3 with HDMI randomly decides not to have sound when it changes resolution. So sometimes when a game starts it'll have no sound even though the XMB did. Returning to XMB and restarting it more often than not fixes it, but changing the channel back and forth works too. My TV is flaky as hell so I figured it was just that, but when I use my 360 with HDMI it never does it, so I dunno.

There is a building towards the end of the game, in the enclave I was getting static from and it only did it in that building for some reason, never experienced that in any other game. I would go in, static, come out nothing, so I guess they sound in that building was fucked up. Not my tv or my hdmi cable, everything is brand new, was weird.

Not a must buy, but in simple terms. Imagine Diablo/PSO & Halo screwed and had a child. The outcome would be Borderlands (in no way am I comparing the quality of one of those titles, just similar mechanics).

Buy from Steam next time (which was 10% off before release, so you would have saved some cash too).

I played a bit before I am off to class (now) and the one thing I didn't like was how laggy searching the game list was. It froze my game for like a good minute or two and then since I hit a button it did it again as it tried to refresh the list. Really terrible.

Been playing offline co-op, hunter (me) and soldier(friend). Basically he has a class mod with ammo regen+10, and I have a hp regen+7 classmod, meaning we really don't die, or have to pick up any ammo really lol.

FFXI is now dead to me...

I'm trying to get some friends interested in Borderlands. I see the great potential within this game. With some well designed DLC this could be an amazing game. Hopefully GearBox won't let us down.

Does anybody who plays roland know what supply pick ups do..? All I've noticed are +2 grenades occasionally.

Soldier was the last class I had any interest in playing but my boss didn't want to play Soldier as a support job and was more in interested in Hunter, so I picked it up on a whim. Have to say that I'm incredibly impressed with it's usefulness.

I'm sure this can't be right, but if you max the turret recast to +100% does that mean you can basically just throw out turrets left and right? Surely that can't be right, but I don't know wtf else it could mean and if that's the case it makes Soldier even that much better.

Took us an hour and a half to get started after all the router and firewall bs we were having, but this is probably the most fun game I've played in a long time.
