Unfortunately, my roommate just lost his lvl 50 Hunter due to data corruption. We had just beaten the 2nd playthrough and he had just gotten lvl 50 proficiency in sniper rifles, too. Funny thing was, my lvl 50 soldier was running at the same time and nothing happened to it. We are going to powerlevel his Siren to 50 now though. Oh, and if anyone wants some help or wants to play, GT is Killer2516.

Is corrosive artifact the same as the acid skill for bloodwing as hunter? I was not able to use the "corrosive artifact" so I assume that's why.

In PowerISO, or whatever you used to open the ISO with. There is a folder in the main dir that says "Crack". Click it, copy and paste those files (2) to;

C:\Program Files\2K Games\Gearbox Software\Borderlands\Binaries

If it asks to over-write, hit yes.

In future, check .nfo files. They almost always give instructions on exactly how to install, this instance was no exception.

lvl 3 hunter and i just got raped by a level 9 guy. I thought i could just h.s. him from afar but no. it was not so.

Anyone beaten the game? Does it force you to finish, and not allow you to continue other quests?

Once you complete the game you have an option to play your playthrough 1 character and complete every single quest or play playthrough 2 from the beginning with all your gear etc.

damn how the hell did he hit a 50 proficiency on two play throughs? i am like lvl 32 and no higher than a lvl 11 proficiency on any weapons

I'm a bit skeptical as to how class modifications work. Say I have a Survivor Mod for Hunter and it says it gives +2 to the skill where when I kill something I get a 100% chance to get extra loot. If I have the skill capped out what does 7/5 in the skill make it do? I'm going to assume the skills stack over 5 otherwise the whole point of mods seems kind of useless to me. : p
