Hosting games does not work for me or friends (PC). We've opened the ports, tried hamachi, tried gameranger. Nothing works. I hope they fix this shit in a patch.

Power leveling is real easy once you got one character level 40+. I power leveled both my siren and a friends hunter yesterday and got each character 2mil plus highest amount of ammo you can hold in play through one. It only took 45mins too.

I did this on split screen.

Depending on if you want the ammo upgrades or not start on play through two. You can easily make a quick mil if you just warp to new haven on walk through2 and open all the chests and sell them on the lower level character.

After that change to play through1. Get back on with both characters and warp to The Descent and keep the low level at the entrance. Kill all the monster on the way to next area and make sure you open all chests. Once you get to the next area drop all the guns you picked up and pick them up with the low level. Sell and then buy all the ammo upgrades on the low level.

Then make your way through the area before the vault and just kill everything. By the time you reach the vault you should be level 22/23.

I have this repeater pistol that shoots 5 bullets at once on my Soldier. its pretty nice for shooting shit, will 1 or 2 shot most things where I am, even at level 20-24, and then a SMG I found out of the blue that fires stupidly fast, its not super powerful but the speed it fires at rapes face

Can anyone attest to the improved item drop rates with a larger group?

More mobs spawn thus more loot in return? I'm also pretty sure you find more equipment just because more people are playing.

I can say I found more epics playing with a friend than I did alone. But honestly it could just be totally random.

Try disabling your firewall.

One thing that worked for me oddly is: Try hosting a Public Game and most of the time it works just fine. Then, you close that game and host a Private and you should be fine from there. Every time I try to start off with a Private it just times out on my friend but starting from Public seemed to do the trick.

I can host fine but it often takes multiple attempts for a person to join. Assuming you're certain your ports are open just keep trying a few times.

And yeah, definitely more loot showing up in multiplayer, just because of the more enemy spawns. Badass/rare enemy spawns seem to be way higher in multiplayer too (this is with only 2 players and it's already very noticable). And those drop better shit naturally (like artifacts from elemental skags, etc).

I'm having trouble finding the revovler barrel for the scavenger quest in Dohl Highlands, anybody have any ideas where it is?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, check inside a burned out car nearby, I think that was the revolver quest.

2nd playthrough already w/ my gf, she's got a siren specced assassin, and i have a hunter specced sniper, I might respec to buff bloodwing but i really have a lot of fun sniping people and having a bloodwing every 5 secs w/ the cooldown reduction w/ every sniper shot. 2nd playthrough is pretty sick, we're lvl 37 in fyrestone but the mobs are pretty damn powerful either way. lol

If you're not as far in the s tory as the host is you wont be able to get/complete the story quests. Otherwise no restrictions.

Um, hate to be a bother again but how do you get up to the SMG sight for the smg scavenger quest? I try to make the jump from the platform with the piece before it but cant get to it?

There's an invisible wall depending on how you approach it. From the ledge that had the previous piece, jump onto a thin layer of metal towards the final SMG piece.
