oh damn
I totally didn't realize that crap about only being able to display 5 lines, so I've been selling my mercenary mods for lillith because they don't have ammo regen! I guess I should have been testing them to see if it got truncated?
I finally decided on a skill build, and being unable to pick between quicksilver and spark I just put 3 points in Spark and 2 in Quicksilver, figuring whatever Firefly/etc mod I used would make up the difference if I ever needed it.
I can't wait for the DLC, although I kinda regret leveling to 50 before it came out, but oh well.
Scanner doesn't want to work and I don't want to post it in shitty cell phone quality. I'll get it to work, or buy a new one, next week and upload the concept pictures.
I'm actually holding out on my Borderlands addiction and waiting it out until GBX can bring out the next patch that fixes alot of the problems atm for 360 (i.e. skills are permalost in multiplayer games, mod items not fully displayed, broken achievements.
I think Mordecai actually had a kilt on in the initial concepts.
If anyone is interested in farming chests, i suggest going to the Crimson Fastness. About half the time there will randomly be a chest on the left side of the first room. After the first room, to the right of the chaingun turret there will be a claptrap next to a door with 2 more chests inside. There's 4 lockers as well, and 2 of the 4 will have a pistol/shield/class mod in it. It's quite a lot of loot for only clearing 4 dudes. After you're done, exit and go back to the main menu, then relog on. You'll be back at the start and the chests will have respawned.
A corrosive weapon absolutely tears through the guys in the first room fyi. I also recommend checking The Med vendor, as it has some nice purple class mods in it quite often.
Yeah but only 2 slightly lower red chests vs 3-5 higher level ones.
I read 2-3![]()
I've been staying on "Another piece of the puzzle" during playthrough 2 so I can do this:

one of the chests near the north gate seems to have a really high chance of being an Eridani weapon. The secret basement is so-so in terms of loot I've gotten, but 7 chests in 5 minutes isn't bad
chests have levels? Is it just determined by what area is played through first? Like going by whats on the teleport list?
The Descent might be better be that the case. 2 chests at the start + a white box thing with 2 more guns in it below.
edit: i just tested it and i got 4 chests + the white crate pretty quickly. On the bottom floor i just run into the middle of everything and loot the chests and exit ;p the mobs are usually too busy fighting each other to bother shooting at me.
Anyone else get their vehicles stuck like this? or other ways -_-;
lulz Rokku that happened right after you loged xD
Spoiler: show
edit: how does one spoil large pictures D:!?
edit2: spoired
Rofl. Awesome. Nice position.
the only gearbox weapon I've ever gotten from that is Rider (the flavor text is "you'll put your eye out"), which is basically a sniper rifle with low damage and no scope but a really high fire rate. between the lockers and the 2 chests you do usually get 6-7 pieces of gear though
edit: there's also another "secret" dev chest in rust commons west, which supposedly has a higher chance to have rares, but I've never had much luck with it and it's kinda far considering you have to die/restart after you open it:

edit edit: oops didnt realize the dev chest was mentioned already in this thread
Old, but good lol.
