I rented and have been playing this like mad. Just beat the last boss, but shit was glitching and laggin like a mofo..
A) the end credits started rolling before NPC stopped talked (so I didnt get the end story bit)
B) Got the little ding and memo saying I got a trophy and now its not showing up
C) bloody area where ever the Middle of Nowhere is keeps having a seizure.. like it you were epileptic youd be all on the ground with your eyes rolled back foaming at the mouth twitching >.>

So, how is the Underdrome so far? Haven't gotten around to actually playing it on account of Darksiders eating my free time.

Also, if anyone that was in my group still reads this, my sudden disappearance was due to dropping a cup of water on my keyboard after Thanksgiving and just not giving a shit about replacing it until the wife forced me to.

on the last arena, one of the badass skags bugged out and went behind the wall..a few minutes later it dissappeared from the radar and we couldnt complete the round...so we had to start it over again. that was on round 11..so it was pretty painful.

the entire dlc is just killing the same 5 waves over and over again with a few gameplay elements changing..like lower accuracy and enemy higher def/shield. its not worth buying tbh

Underdome is mad fun with friends. Just be prepared to have a little free time. Took about ~40-50 minutes for the shortest with my friend.

Is there any real point to playing through playthrough 2? I mean does anything change or is it the exact same quests over again, just at higher level (and better equipped, to start out with)?

To get to level 50 mostly. It's all the exact same stuff only with stronger enemies and better guns.

meh. Guess that's it for me then. Was fun the first time through, but I just can't see myself repeating the exact same quests again.

Not that there's a lot of point in doing it the second time, but running through the game just doing the storyline quests (no sidequests) doesn't take that long and it opens up some much better gear that isn't available in playthrough one (level 6 artifacts, +4 class mods, etc).

Just remember to do all of T.K.s quests when he makes 'em available, if you're rushing the storyline.

Due to the lack of value from the last DLC they released, I have not been inclined to pay $10 for a few hours of content at max. That's just me though, I'll probably hold off till they sell them all for $5/ea or something.

It's really fun if you enjoy arena's and have a friend or two to play with. Some of the longer ones can last quite awhile (five plus hours).

Just started the game a few days ago, played the areana DLC and actually enjoy it. Something to play with my friends that I think they would enjoy as well. The quest element bored them.

Anybody have any decent weapons they want to toss a brother?

I got Mad Moxxi's Underdome on PS3 last week, haven't had much chance to play around with it though, got to the second round solo on my sniper before a badass wave with buffed damage killed me.

Bump off the second page, but I finally beat this and was incredibly disappointed with just about everything concerning the ending.

That being said my friend, boss and I plan on going through the DLC together and I never really got any good weapons. Is there any place to farm the higher end weapons and/or class mods? Best gun I have right now is a 420~ damage magnum that's pearl. In need a of a good Magnum and SMG. For class mods, I don't really have anything superb either, so if there's a place to farm those that would be nice as well :D.

Second playthrough is usually the best option for better guns.
