This game plays so much like COD, controls are the same. I just finished the first 5 missions, this game is definitely gonna shine on co-op when doing harder missions.

this game looks pretty sick, I hadn't even been paying attention until now. anyone know about how long the single player campaign is? Might have to get this when it comes out

Well the lvl cap is 50, he has been playing for 16-17 hours and he's only 21. Once you complete the game, the game+ mode makes the game harder and increases the level of the enemies you encounter. Watching him play, the game looks challenging and you really have to pay attention to the enemy levels, earlier he was 13 and fighting 15's and barely making dents, the game looks really deep and has a ton of content. The way the game loads out is pretty unique as well. Only thing Ive seen so far I didnt like was the vehicle detection, he was getting snagged on the smallest thing. The dev's in there answering questions and stuff was nice to see, but god damn was it full of idiots.

I am so getting this with my next paycheck. I've been waiting for this game to come out since I read it in Game Informer.

Edit: Borderlands is coming out for $40? Where you guys hear this from? I checked Bestbuy's website and they got it priced for $60.

Yeah he was playing mord, he was handling them fine, but like I said, he was pretty bad, thing is its smart to of course have your rifle, and a couple decent guns for up close. ALso bloodwing naturaly its omgwtf awesome right off, you need to level him up.

Guy above me, I think its 40 only in canda, unsure at this point until I seee a sales paper tomorrow or hear otherwise.

Ive been playing this since 2 today, game is really fun, Im playing as the hunter. Word to the wise, not really a spoiler, but try to shoot skags in the mouth.

Ugh, there's a pre-order bonus at gamestop, isn't there? Was gonna order from amazon but meh. I hate the whole bonus shit these days, it wasn't so bad when it was stuff you could normally unlock in the game but exclusive content pisses me off...

The actual midnight launch is for something else, but the manager (been going to this GS for years, he knows me etc) was telling me that anytime they have a midnight launch, if another game is in stock that is streetdated for tuesday, they will give it out at the midnight launch.
Edit: think the launch is for WWE/FIFA.

yea, wwe/fifa/borderlands all come out tuesday, midnights aren't based on what game is coming, midnights are based on preorders. so when a lot of titles come out the same day its possible to have a midnight just because the combined total is well and they think it'll draw in business

Yeah but typically big games=lots of preorders, and with all the sporting gamers (ugh) I think those are the big titles, as opposed to Borderlands. According to the manager all the games I have ordered thru L4D2 on Nov 17th, can be picked up at midnight, which is awesome. Last week I got F3 Goty, Uncharted 2, and Brutal Legend. This week is Borderlands, then Ratchet and Clank, Dragon Age, COD MW2, and L4D2. Then I am broke/never gonna have time for a couple months, lol. Hopefully finish most over christmas break, so I can get ME2 in January, and be done with that in time for GoWIII and FFXIII.

thats true, but around here only 1 store in my entire district is doing a midnight launch for it, so i gotta pick mine up on tuesday
