Getting on the bandwagon late and I only have two friends who own the game (one is level 55, the other moved his Xbox with the disc in it). Is this game worth it if you don't have a lot of friends to play with? I've had it described as Diablo 2 with a Fallout setting? lol

I played the whole thing single player and loved it. It's an FPS with RPG elements and a diablo-like loot system, which is really addictive. There's some story, but it's more loot-driven than anything.

Oy vey...I've lost count of how many times I've soloed Crawmerax now. Skilling up off him is awesome. Kind of just want to see a pearlescent drop at this point...don't care what it is

yea "Quick health regen!", but it'd have to be 1900+ capacity/240+ recharge rate to be better than my current one. I friended Militant to get his but I keep forgetting to ask him to let me dupe it

Person drops > You pick up, save and quit, they dashboard out so nothing saves I assume.

Touting the popularity of the three pieces of downloadable content released for Borderlands to date, Take-Two CEO Ben Feder said today that more are on the way.

"Borderlands continues to build on its success in the market," Feder said during the company's quarterly financial earnings call. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx was the "highest scoring in the series."

"We will continue to support the title with more add-on content."

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, released last month, was the third downloadable pack released for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game.

Speaking with Kotaku this morning, Gearbox senior designer Paul Hellquist declined to comment on the release of future DLC for Borderlands. He did say that the developers have considered a number of different approaches to future Borderlands DLC, including a pot luck pack that would include a number of small things that could be sold for less then the $10 the other three sold for.
