I find the claptraps annoying as hell.

When I first started playing I purposely didn't do the rescue missions until I figured out they gave SDU upgrades.

I then felt cheated having to repair those POS's.

Not sure why I'm curious now, but does anybody else have a Bessie above 1900 damage? I have one that is at like 1950 damage, and the highest value listed on borderlands wiki is 1600-something. Some guy dropped it online and I snagged it, is it modded?

Weak, he dropped a pangolin shield that isn't modded, I think. This was a long time ago, I was hoping their wiki just didn't have that many samples.

So I didn't have a ps3 when it was first released, and didn't want to get it for pc at the time. Is it worth getting this game now? About the co-op mode, my roommate is really interested in getting into the game - can we run a dual screen game on 1 ps3? I'm thinking no but thought it worth asking anyways. We have a 360 here also so would he be able to play a 360 copy with me? Maybe it's a dumb question, but I don't know lol

Whoa, wait, split-screen? Christ, first time I've heard of that, thanks to increasing my interest 10-fold for the GOTY release.

Question about it then on PS3, how is save-data handled? A lot of PS3 co-op games like to say fuck-it and only allow you to load data from the currently logged-in profile, which blows when you have people who play on their own profiles. Does it support multiple logged-in users like Resistance 2, or have an import option?

I think I may actually replace the blu-ray laser that died in my PS3 6 months ago just to play the new expansion. (it's going to suck though, I had 2 61s on my friends PS3)

You can play split screen online afaik, so if you get it and are leveling up, I'd be down to level with you guys on a new toon until you hit 50 and switch to my siren.

It allows any local user. In fact, you can't join a split screen game without choosing a user.

What Qal said. Wait till Oct 12th, and grab the GOTY edition. Will include the original game, + all 4 DLC's + a collectors edition map of borderlands areas. It will be just a few weeks after the 4th (and supposedly final) DLC comes out, so there will be lots of people online with to play with as well.

If you decide to go the PS3 route, I'll help you level and all that jazz. It'll be like WKC again, only with less of me being consumed with the urge to start slamming my head against a wall after the 7502967th big red run.
