Which DLC should you go after during your second playthrough after ned's? I currently got knox, but i intend to buy claptrap's and moxxi's.

For my siren that I duoed with my friend, we went 1st playthrough > 5 round moxxi > Ned (end was boring, we were overleveled by the time we finished it) > Knoxx (ended at 45 also stupid easy) > 2nd playthrough no side quests (also easy until the crimson fastness-ish area) > sidequests > ned > claptrap. We maxed at 69 midway through claptrap.

Blazing through the 2nd playthrough is probably a good idea since everything scales once you finish the playthrough. Before then, it's boring. DLC scales once you beat the 2nd playthrough. Also your weapons will still skill up once you hit max lvl since stuff still dishes out xp.

Is it worth it to buy moxxi's dlc? I am mostly just interested in the extra space to keep items.

As for the playthrough thing. I tried playing knoxx's place with my brother, but it seems we're too low for it. Got a beat down from the ninja sluts. I think we're about level 48 to 50, and we're on the second playthrough. You're suggesting we just finish the second playthrough, and then go do the dlcs?

Yea, we finished the 2nd playthrough at about 53. Then everything scaled to 53-55 to us. They hit like freight trains since we didn't upgrade much of our gear sans a bulldog shotgun. Friend was still rocking a level 37 pestilent defiler. Final boss was 55 or 56 I forget. Probably best to just finish the playthrough so there is a bit more consistency between mobs and yourself.

Moxxi is for 2 skill points and more storage (42 slots). It has its moments.

Claptrap has the hyperion market once you finish it (aka, room full of red chests, about 20 of them). And you can reload it as may times as you want unlike the armory in knoxx. We did ned > claptrap because we did all of knoxx sans crawremax on the first playthrough.

Just beat Claptrap DLC in one sitting. Alright pack overall, felt like it could have used some more quests after having did Knoxx (which had twice as many). Only thing I got left to do in Claptrap is the final claptrap-parts quest, which I'll hopefully get all the stupid rare parts for the trophies during my farming of those. ;/

Level 46 currently, only thing left to do on playthrough 1 is Crawmerax, the aforementioned parts, and Moxxi's 3 large tourneys. Anyone got advice for Moxxi? I got to round 9 of one of them before I said fuck it as I was bored to tears. Doing it with the split-screen trick as I can't finish it all solo legit (I don't think any of the classes could without cheesing it somehow) which doesn't help, but it gets annoying having to keep running around to finish off the mobs per wave.

I don't think i can bring myself to do all thelong tournaments. It's just too boring.

my advice for moxxi is don't do them. way too boring and annoying. there's no good loot there anyway.

I did all the moxxi shit last, I was so fucking bored with it and wanted the game completed achievement wise. I did solo all of it however, wasnt too tough, just boring. Easily the worst and most tedious DLC I have ever bought.

General Knoxx in general had most of my fav quotes. Knoxx himself is a character I can relate to, so every line of his choked me good.

Tannis' recordings in the core game were pretty damn good also if you did them chronologically. Game really needs more of those moments so you can get to know the characters, rather than the majority of them just being unique looking quest givers that have 1-dimensional personalities.

Tannis, Knoxx, and Scooter are the only characters I care about so far (have beat the game + knoxx expansion). A lot of the reason I like Tannis is because of the recorder quests... they added a lot to her personality.

I completed the game solo and boy was the end a let down. The mobs leading up to the M. Night Shamalannadingdong final boss gave me more trouble than the final boss itself. The story ending was also a huge letdown for me. Yet here I am... blazing through playthrough 2 so I can unlock 2.5... This game is pretty addicting. Thinking about taking a break on my playthrough 2 run to give Mordecai or Lilith a shot. >_>

I'm on 360 but you shouldn't need to level up for playthrough 2 if you are 46+. I just hit 50 after clearing out Old Haven (Claptrap for Tannis + Smoke Signals) without doing many sidequests at all. I did die several times though during Old Haven.... crimson lance suck. Unless you meant leveling to cap for Crawmerax. >_>;

Also, what grenade mods do you guys use? I used to use Transfusion but after I got Stat for Soldier I can't see the point. Sticky sucks if you miss the mob because the AI will then move away from it. Rubberized would probably kill me more than mobs. MIRV and Rain seem too random and can be a bit glitchy (not firing in tight spaces etc). Going to play around with Proximity and Longbow once I find them.

Transfusion is more for when you're playing with other people and want to enhance your healing role a bit. Otherwise, use elemental grenades. Preferably the one that teleports.

If Moxxi is in Borderlands 2 and is killable, I'm sold.

Fucking hate the Underdome DLC. Two of the three tournaments completed now, only way I've been able to manage so far is listening to Bombcast each run, which lasts a good two hours.



Kuya, I'll add you in whenever I finish Underdome. Trophy unlocks for it can get finicky I've read when bouncing playthrough 1/2, so I don't want to possibly screw myself into having to beat them all again.



I got a big checklist of things I'd like in a B2, but I'll wait until we hear some proper news about what it is and what they plan to do with it before I'll post anything.
