Knoxx is great if you can deal with the large amount of back/forth travelling. Skip Moxxi if you don't care about trophies. Granted if you own it already it's only worth visiting Underdome if only for the bank there.

Possibly worth it if you got 3 high-level friends also for potential pearlescent loot rewards.

Yeah, I haven't really picked up the game on the PS3 since the Zombie Island expansion. Played the hell out of that, but there was a lull in expansions and other stuff came out and I just never went back to it. I really should get Knoxx though.

I'm going to bumrush the third and final Underdome arena later tonight when my one of my podcasts' updates so I got some listening material while zombieing away at 1k kills, then I'll be good to fuck around in co-op. Only thing I'm lacking in the game is Knoxx's Crawmerax on playthrough 1, then I'm free to do/assist with whatever as all I got left is XP grinding.

Going to do some DLC trophy cleaning up in Knoxx/Claptrap, then doing to muck about in playthrough 2 so I'm eligible for quests for your Claptrap run Kuya.

Crawmerax was a lot of fun.

I really hope that they add a bit more story into the new Borderlands. They need more towns NPCs that you can actually interact act with. A crafting/mod system like c'mon all the guns were built out of random parts how easy would it be to put in some kind of gun building system. Finally though I think they should seriously consider having more diverse locals Pandora was kinda cool but I think the post-apocalyptic setting has been done enough for a little while at least.

The one thing I hope they tweak is the orange+ weapons, 90% of the time they were worse compared to other purples or blues you had and some were x100 more common compared to others (fuck Hellfires, Equalizers, and Volcanoes).

ok so, Crawmerax. My little brother and I have killed him 50+ times, we got ONE fucking pearlescent weapon (lame shotgun) on the very first kill. 90% of those kills were on playthrough two if it makes a difference.

What's sad about Borderlands 1 is that the trailers they made for the game up and through its release are more entertaining/humorous than a large chunk of the game itself.

Hoping they've taken what they learned and apply some of this magic into Borderlands2:

It was these trailers that gave me the impression the claptraps in the game would be hilarious, but they're all so bland and robotic compared to the one in the videos.



Also having fun bumrushing Playthrough 2 at the moment. Nice to finally be able to move around at a brisk pace rather than being stuck in an arena for 8 hours.



One thing I'd want in B2 at any rate is a weapon-select wheel rather than just the 4 options, and allowing us to put meds/gear in there also for quick usage/swapping. I got this lovely shield that regenerates my health that I like using, but the shield on it is about half of what the ones I'm getting dropped supply.

Yea the game is much better when it tries to be humerous. The dlcs pretty much proved that.

Depends. Do you want to gain XP while doing the DLC, or just play through them?

Zombie Island will work fine after a playthrough 1, but after that you'll be a bit overlevelled for Knoxx/Claptrap, so if you want a challenge I'd recommend jumping over to playthrough 2 so the mobs are scaled up to lvl50+ in those packs.
