Okay guys, we made Blackwings to strong. they've been the top tier for too long and we need a better deck.
Let's make an archtype that can swarm like Blackwings, but we'll give it built in card destruction effects!
Oh, and we can't keep just ignoring Blackwings, so every single set we release will devote 3-5 cards just to blackwings, but we can't make them better, so lets just give them shit no one will run because it doesn't go with the blackwing strategies.

Its all of that trickster stuff. More situational than the most situational things video games can offer. Effects for when your opponent doesnt die in battle, effects when they destroy your fd cards, effects when they deal effect damage, effects when they do whatever. Maybe the idea is to have the whole deck in your hand so you have an out to any (ridiculous) situation.

Or stack.

In other news, a lot of people are saying that Beasts get another bump from STOR. Really its just Polar Goat Tangrisnirewohw that can get you 2 level 3 tokens when its destroyed by battle. So everyone is making it seem like the "Beast deck Dandylion" except 200% slower. Right now i'm using scrap beast/chimera as part of the arsenal, but the 2 goats and the horse should be just as good. Beast/chimera has problem that you can't search them out with anything in the massive beast recruiting army. But since Tangrisnirr and Tanngnostr are both level 3 beasts, you can search them with anything. Then Gnostr can search out level 4 Tuner Gullfaxi on your next turn and synchro for 7-10.

So when are zombies becoming relevant? The restriction lists always seem to have something to block them from become an upper-tier deck again. I only play recreationally and do not spend cash on cards, having traded all my old bait, I have little else to offer for a deck change.

The description they gave for the Storm of Ragnarok release mentions Zombies among type getting new cards but reviewing the set, I cannot find anything like that. Hopefully it's a couple new exclusives, as I'm unfamiliar with any decent OCG Zombie exclusives atm.

Damn, do I miss the games pre-synchro and special summon madness. I'd pay anything to relive the days before the Envoys were released.

EDIT: How's the XBLA game? YVD is nice and all but the interface and finding someone to play with made it very unappealing.

So, Super bump, but is anyone but me extremely disgusted and disappointing at how absolutely terrible, one sided, broken, unfair, and bland the Xbox360 Arcade, "Decade Duels" is?

I was hoping it was going to be pretty fun, at least with a Point > buy card packs option similar to the DS yu-gi-oh games... Nope :\

Reviews for it are all garbage, the game itself has no redeeming quality other than XBL support.

You literally get the worst pile of shit deck I've ever seen as a start in any Yu-Gi-Oh game, and the "Single Player" is a Duel tournament against people who have completely honed and broken decks that can stomp your ass in ~3 turns.

That and they always have the cards they need to win it seems.

Fought one bitch who had 2 of those "you take 300 DMG every time you take effect dmg" cards, 2 Ookazi's, and 1 of those "Cannon" Spell cards that for each turn on the field, it gains the ability to inflict 1000 DMG per turn it was out when you discard it.

I was dead in ~3 turns cause of the combos she pulled and me not getting any cards to destroy her spells

Had one "Gladiator beast" Guy pull ~3-4 Fusion monsters within the first 2 turns, completely obliterating me, and everytime i got lucky and destroyed one some effect or Trap/Spell he used next turn got 3 more monsters out, and summoned a new stronger fusion monster.

Its a heart crushing game

Isn't even an option to turn down the A.I

Konami is worst than Square Enixl, I'm making that mental note now to avoid all their games.

You can't even win cards via multiplayer matches with friends/XBL, You have to play the Tournament to get cards.

no DLC yet, including cards, as far as i can tell.
