So I'm finally starting to warm up to Karakuri. And with the banlist to be leaked in a week, hopefully all the shit that needs to be hit(Tribute, Gateway, Dandylion etc) get hit so Karakuris stand a chance.

I played around with them a bit on the psp game. they can be fun.

I have been wondering if six sam have become the top tier like they obviously should have though.
And I wouldn't think 6sam dominance would really be affected all that much by limiting Gateway. What would need to be limited is Grandmaster and/or Kizan.
Something I found really interesting when it came to these new 6sam cards is though, every single one of them is linked to the older 6sam sets.

yeah, i was told that Kegemusha is Kagemusha of the Blue Flame, the old vanilla card.

The deck imo is like the old blackwings, if they draw Gateway and United first turn(which the deck always seems to do lol) then they can usually win. If you BRD the field, they will usually lose, but the deck now runs so much crap to protect their excessive field. If they don't touch any Six Sam cards, then i hope stuff like Maxx C and the rest of the side deck will be enough to counter "Summon 3 monsters, set 2 cards, add 2 monsters to my hand and draw 2 cards."

YCS Dallas is still going on.
Six sams are very popular, followed by blackwings. There's some good feature matches though on the blog match, with stuff like Xsabers beating Six Sams, Maxx C shenanigans, etc.
I'm sure therell be six sams in the top 8, but it looks like if they dont win, then no other new deck will.

Formula Monarchs? Doubt it
Machina Gadgets? Maybe, depends on their s/t build.
And there aren't any other decks that havent topped before.

Glad I quit Yugioh. Not sure why I keep up with it though.
Yugioh's been in an increasingly steep decline since Synchro Monsters.
Not saying that playing with Synchros wasn't fun, but it more or less just turned the game into who can synchro the most, the fastest. The crazy special summoning cards didn't help anything either... DAD, JD etc.


I wonder why Magician of Faith has never made it back in the game. At least when Monster Reborn was banned.
Should Bring back Tribe Infecting Virus too. To at least attempt to keep Black Wings and 6sam in check since konami doesn't seem to mind them dominating the meta for every format.

Before, we can use cards like Dark Armed Dragon using our turn Priority,

After this change, we can't use these cards' effects (Ignition, Spell Speed 1). Basically, we cannot "use" our Priority for Spell Speed 1 (Ignition) effects.

This goes to effect, in OCG land, March 19th.

Bottomless Trap Hole just got a lot better. Don't know if these rules will hit TCG side.

Stuff like Black Rose Dragon still works even if you BTH it, since it's a Trigger.
