Any opinions on that new game you mentioned? I have some money to spare and certainly wouldn't mind playing yugioh online vs bgers. Bonus points if I can recreate an updated version of my little girl deck I made for a laugh I usually use as my other decks tended to be alot more rapey.

If you're talking about the xbox live arcade yugioh game, I don't really know much about it. I hear that it takes a little while to get all the cards.
If you're asking about DuelingNetwork released last year, thats a flash game of yugioh. All cards and many users..some times too many.

So, I hate to refresh a semi-old (12 days) thread, but I'm trying to get into YGO (via dueling network), but.. I'm really rusty on the rules. Anyone wanna duel sometime? Fuck around on DN?

I haven't messed with the dueling network at all and I'm a few sets behind on yugioh but if I get around to using it, I'll let you know.

That is until you go against retarded people...

one match; me vs 6sam. Dude calls me a noob and talks in all caps in the very first 30 seconds. then he uses Yachi to destroy a facedown Call of the Haunted, which I chain to and then he spams chat with NOOB saying he destroyed it. Then later that turn he tries to attack with that same yachi.
Later I use Tour guide to bring out tour bus and then I XYZ them, but he says I can't use Tour Bus's effect and I cant Synchro summon because of Tour Guide's effect. Which is very true. If I was synchroing and using Tour Bus' effect (which is a graveyard effect lol)

next match I get was a guy who on his 1st turn (I went first), used Fusion recovery (return a Poly and a fusion material monster that was used to fusion summon) then he grabbed a Poly and Cyber Dragon from his deck with it. Which he then follows up by special summoning Cyber Dragon (I have no monsters on the field)
I call him out and he tells me he can and then proceeds to tell me to watch Yugioh GX.

Bah. DuelingNetwork's brought me back into the game. Virtually anyways.

And dear God, Dark Simorgh confuses the fuck out of a lot of people lol. Don't know if it's more fun messing with people with Dark Simorgh or When I use my Plasma deck and get off my Marauding captain > Hero kid +hero kid + hero kid = Plasma combo.

Are you playing Ninja Simorgh or just a basic/darksynchro version? Normal summoning Hanzo into Dark Simorgh on the opponent's turn is pretty cool
