I always thought Skill Drain was just for side deck material? The deck looks interesting I'll give a go soon. Only tried Gorz once in a different deck guess I can see how he works now.

Skill drain wrecks this format. SkillDAD, Zombies with Skill Drain, and Blackwings with Skill Drain all have a ton of potential.

I still think RevivalDAD is the best deck right now uncontested tho

On another note, I'm trying to think of a deck I can splash Deep Sea Diva and GK Spy in. Anyone got any ideas?

Deep Sea Diva limited at all? Can't think of any special situations expect summoning copies of itself for synchros/tributes. Doesn't seem too useful in any other way. Sucks that it has to be normal summoned to get its effect

And people use GK spy for tributing anything. Any deck with a lot of tribute monsters that rely on wasting as little moves playing level <4 monsters from the hand.

I'm sure i'm telling you stuff you already know though :\

Diva into Diva, flip Spy and get Spy, synchro into Goyo and Brionac, dump Malicious and Plaguespreader to remove two cards of theirs on the field, summon Malicious+PSZ, synchro for Colossal = GG

Anyway, I just got back into it a few months ago after not playing since about 2004/2005. I played Zombies before I quit (and before they became top tier decks), and am playing it again now that I'm back (after they've already fallen from grace). Mezuki is nigh-impossible to get, which as anyone familiar with zombies would tell you is staple to having a good zombie deck. I'm playing Chaos Zombies right now, capitalizing on Chaos Sorcerer's semi-limit.

Does anyone else have problems getting that last card you need to have a great deck?

I'm going to a local tourny for the 1st time in about 4months. gonna try and get rid of my crappy cards for better stuff to sell. I sold most of my black wing and plant stuff, so i'm either going to have to run my winged kuriboh deck,hero kids/plasma deck or chain burn deck..theyre all equally fun! tho 2 of them are just about completely stopped by prime material dragon.

I really want to get in another Athena, Hecatrice, Valhalla, and Souls of Purity and Light and I think the deck would greatly benefit from Royal decree. In those last duels I never got Valhalla or Hecatrice when i needed it(which is bs cause its a 1/10 chance) and all I could draw up were splendid venus's which I hate. I'm thinking I may be able to dump the arcana force and dump a Venus, but I have no idea what else to take out. Kinda don't like losing more level 8 fairies but with only 2 trade-in's in the deck it may not be so bad.

Any suggestions guys? :\

I used to play with the counter build, but with Valhalla you can make a very offensive beatdown style deck. Special summon high level fairies with Valhalla if you dont have monsters, Celestial transformation your high levels to tribute for more high levels, or inferno reckless summon them to swarm the field. Then Freya is there to get your level 8's out of the graveyard or win the match with effect damage

And yeah, that card is pretty cool especially with soul of purity and light to set your graveyard up

I feel the same way with Burial from a Different Dimension. No one has the cheaper rare version and I can't ante up for an Ultra. I've recently got a DAD, that coupled with Mezuki/PSZ/Allures it would be really nice to have a couple.

I was leaning towards catering for a couple of Earthbounds since they're fun to use, but with DaD it seems to just slow things down. I may consider some Tomatoes/Arma Knights over the Pyramid Turtles now. I'm not entirely sure, hrhr.

I used to run a counter fairy deck was pretty fun. took me forever to get everything for it though.

basically, Invicil made it so noone could play spell cards, and all the the other cards stopped everything else. just keep Meltiel on the field, and everytime a counter5 trap was activated, you get to gain 1k lifepoints and destroy a card on the field.

and that was before any of those cards were reprinted at all...(aside from solemn)
was plagued with a lot of bad starting hands though.
