Trinity Armor? It took me a while to do it with Terra CM.

You just need to play the usual hit and run tactic with it, I did shotlock at the start on it's legs. If I couldn't kill the legs before it spins around with all 3, I just spamed guard for when it rushed around the area.

Yea, that's it. I haven't really used Shotlock much, so I end up forgetting about it even during boss fights. I'm trying to use it more often now so I don't forget about it. It definitely helps wonders with some bosses. I had no problem with the boss now that I used Shotlock on it.

Man, the "true" final boss after you beat all the scenarios was easier than I expected.
Pretty sure I can easily do a "no damage" run of the 2nd form that has Ansem's heartless pal that we all know and love to hate. The form before that is far tougher for me to not get hit by but either crumble to dust after getting hit by my fission firaga+triple firaga combo a few times.

Wondering if there's any other more damaging combo you can pull off on him, would need something that pops him into the air like fission firaga and then something strong to follow it up as he's falling.


EDIT: To be honest, I could probably do no damage on the first one too if I grinded levels so I could beat him before I make a mistake, lol.

So did Ven die and now resides in Sora? Or is Ven's physical body still sleeping and only his spirit or some shit is in Sora? I hate how it opens more questions then answers. Also I guess KH3 will be Sora helping Terra/Aqua and all that? Can't wait until KH3 but i wouldn't be mad if they made a game about the keyblade war. Great game though and the difficulty was actually a challenge on some parts and loved the melding system.

Also I need to play KH2 again or read up on it. I forget if they explained how exactly all the guys in Organization XIII became nobodies, like what actually happened to them.

Ven didn't die, but since his heart was damaged in the battle against Vanitas now he's sleeping while waiting for Sora to set things right. He's now stuck in the Chamber of Waking in Castle Oblivion, which can't be accessed by anyone but Aqua (Org XIII was looking for him in CoM and Days but they failed).

I don't understand the concept of "aging" in KH games. Disregarding Disney characters, Sora, Riku, Lea/Axel, Isa/Saix, Ienzo/Zexion and Kairi get older but Aqua looks the same 10 years after (we can assume that 10 years have passed since she fell into the darkness since she meets Ansem after the events of KH2).

I think Braig and Answem the Wise are much more involved with this thing that they seem since both of them got their eye color changed from black/blue to gold. Maybe Master Xehanort is possessing/controlling them (notice how Terranort's eyes are brown and not gold in the secret ending when he wears sciencist's outfit).

Lastly, anyone else notice that the dialogue between Ven, Terra and Aqua is strikingly similiar to Sora, Riku and Kairi's from KH1?
"Come on Ven/Sora, I thought you were stronger than that.", "Give me a break Kairi/Aqua" and "Sora/Ven, you hopeless sleepyhead".

Either way, reading the story records is helpful to understand certain plot points, especially the final chapters when things get more confusing.

And by the way, Vanitas is the best villain in the series imo.

Obviously I need some work... was off my game at the start and definitely paid for it but as you can see, my strategy works for the most part. Just need to tweak a little then practice and I am sure I can do a no damage run for this dude.

Form 2 was a complete joke compared to the first one. I spammed Shootlock/Seeking Mine on him right before the black demon starts spamming the attack where he emerges from the ground since he is completely vulnerable during that phase.

Just make sure you use a shotlock with a low number requirement (Thundershock or w/e it's called only needs you to lock on 5 times) and you should be able to get it off when he tries to Meteor. Otherwise you might wanna exit out and meld a command that gives Once More. With that you can literally just stand there and take all the meteors to the face without dying.

I found it easier to run to a far corner and just block them all so you don't take any damage at all. I assumed they couldn't be blocked, but they actually can. The Shotlock I had equipped at the time wouldn't have helped dodging the Meteors that way. The Shotlock did a nice bit of damage to him, though when I got all hits locked on, it would take a whole bar and half of his health, not sure if there were another Shotlock that does a nice amount of damage against him.

Anyone know a good Shotlock I can pick up early ish for Ven? I just got done fighting the Trinity Armor.

Man... Ventus story was a complete joke, shit was so fucking easy on Critical. I didn't use Shotlock for his whole story, except twice at the beginning, but it was so fucking weak I never bothered to use again and due to that I completely forgot about Shotlock again. I even went 1/1 on Last boss 2nd form, but almost fucked up big time on 2nd part of the fight.

Hoping to see how fun Aqua is going full out Magic with her. I guess I should see what gives stronger Magic Commands such as Megaflare and the other devastating spells I can't remember.

Did 13 hours of farming/grinding abilities, and commands to max out. Have almost every ability unlocked on Terra. Finally beat his final boss at lv43 and going to start on ven soon. 37hrs clocked in on just Terra for me is crazy but at least I finished the sticker and chest collections. Have a feeling I'll have around 100+ hours just to 100% everything.

Yeah, Ven's final boss was really anti-climactic. The hardest part of the fight was the freakin' QTE section... how lame is that?

Main reason I hated that shit was due to spinning Analong stick like 3 fucking times for 10-15sec, fucking hate PSP Analong Stick. That shit made my thumb sore as hell.

Also, Wingblade Command Style is so fucking nice. My favorite Command Style by far.

That's how I almost died the first time, I fucked up at first since it caught me off guard and I ended up spinning in the wrong direction. Once More and Second Chance kept me from dying completely.

Aqua has any QTE bosses that involves spinning the Analog?
