Ya'll pussies need to do that shit as Terra like a real boss. No cheap ass mine strats and other assorted faggotry.

He's pretty damn easy to get melee hits on, I'm sure it's really not hard at all with Terra either. Especially when he shotlocks and you can just go rape mode on his ass.
Yeah okay, you go do it and see how "easy" it is.
It's not impossible but calling it easy is... well, silly.
I said it's easy to get melee hits in on him. Not that the entire fight was easy. I'm sure it's a pain in the ass to dodge his shit with Terra compared to Ven/Aqua since his dash isn't half as broken as roll/cartwheel, but I'm sure it's still not an exceptionally hard battle.
You're not sure til you do it. It's definitely harder than MF as Terra, that's for damn sure.
You're using Remotjoylite to record psp videos right? Will it work on a normal psp(no hacks) or is it cfw w/e only?
Need custom firmware.
Damn
Is there a way to get him to Shotlock more often? He hardly used that shit, maybe 5 times total, so I relied on Mines instead. My melee hits are so fucking weak without my Abilities and higher lvl. I'm only 27 and my Strength was only like 22, lol. Whenever I hit VLS his HP bar wouldn't move unless I did a full 6hit+ combo on him, and when I did it'd only take 2-3% off. I'm doing Mysterious Figure now and my damage is just pathetic, but it's easy fight, just will drag on for ages. And since I did no grinding at all, I only had one little Seeker Mine, so it took years to kill him.
So to beat VLS and MF is to rely on mines and just dodge like crazy? Gotcha. I'm working on Ven's story while grinding up Terra higher for both fights later next week(will do the same for Ven and Aqua someday)
Well, my buddy says you can land Tornado on VLS with Ven so... I'm pretty sure you'll want to do that if it's true. That should make the fight short and sweet.
Actually about to try it right now.
EDIT: ROFL, it works... and the fight is TOO easy with that.
Anytime he does that shit where he fires of the X in the air, if you're below him when he's coming down just go ahead and bust off a tornado and take a HUGE (and I do mean huge) chunk of his health.
I had to rely on Seeker due to being such a low lvl and low STR/MAG. I would have to grind Ven up a bit and get Tornada for him to do it the easier way.
As for MF, Multiple maxed out Thunder Surge is your best friend. Shit does a lot of damage to MF and takes out all of his clones while damaging him at same time with just one Thunder Surge. Fire Surge works as well, but bit weaker than Thunder Surge. I'm gonna just finish off all my Abilities and lvl to 50 so I can actually damage MF for a nice amount with Thunder Surge.
I like to try to come up with my own strats rather than watching vids, probably never woulda though to try that if a friend hadn't messaged me saying how easy VLS was... I was like WHAT
And hell, didn't even know VLS had the lightning move because he NEVER USES IT
Man, he loves to use that shit on me. Doesn't seem to leave him open as much as the X attack does, but either way you can get a free hit or two in off of either of, doesn't really make much difference which he decides to use. I used a different strategy to him for his Aqua win (well, still used mines but I didn't lure him in to em like everyone else seems to). I logged out my gmail account to check another so this video upload is probably gonna fail, fuck I hate my upload speed and youtubes stupid linked account nonsense.
Edit:
That's how I ended up doing it. Seemed to be the best way to consistently hit him with all of the mines. Could have sped it up if I bothered to get more of em and lured him to them aswell as doing it that way, but whatever. Fucked up with one of those Mega Potions but I did not give a fuck.

Masa is trying to do level 1 Lingering Spirit with no commands now, lol.
Just got done killing VS with Aqua, it was indeed pretty easy once I found out that firewheel was definitely not a better version than cartwheel...
I do have a question tho:
I just wasted my time if I killed him on my last episode file since you can't fight MF on last ep, right?
Certainly seems that way. I did the exact same thing too, lol.
Beat Terra's final boss in Critical mode at level 1.
For anyone attempting this: get Fire/Thunder Surge x4, Attack Haste x5 and Fire/Thunder Boost x3, you can literally stun-lock the second last boss spamming them. My command setup was Curaga x3, Thunder Surge x4 and Ignite (for the first part of the fight). Make sure to have Renewal Guard as well, it helps temendously. Second Chance and Once More are a must of course. Cure and Combo Boosts are useful to have but not required.
For the final boss, most of the damage is done with guard but you need to play offensively when he reaches the 50% mark else he'll just spam Curaga again and again. He won't heal himself anymore once he starts using the stronger attacks like Meteor, at that point go back playing defensively.
Lastly, Thunderstorm sucks. Use Sonic Shadow shotlock instead. Slightly longer starting time but much better for offense and defense.
So... the one that allows room for error is worse than the one that doesn't? Makes sense.
TS is definitely better for defense because it doesn't take forever to get 18 locks on an enemy if you're caught off guard, Sonic Shadow lasts longer but that's both a good AND bad thing since you can very easily miss an opportunity to end the lock early in a safe position. 'cause I mean if he starts Ars Solum while you're still in Sonic Shadow... you're still not in a good spot (and that's something I had happen to me more than once before I switched to TS). You can only hope that you can delay long enough by holding off on those timed button presses after the main surge which is generally a crapshoot regardless.
Sonic Shadow is certainly in no way safer than TS but I will say it definitely is better for offense but honestly... neither makes a good deal of difference on offense in most situations where it matters (bosses that love to counter/teleport constantly as all the end-game bosses do)
