A polish site actually said that it's going to have a new boss along other new elements, but they never give out any good sources and often post wrong info so.

Both Terra and Ventus first bosses proved to be somewhat of a challenge on Proud Mode for me, but after that everything gets a lot easier. You gain levels fast, you can lv up and combine abilities plus add passives and so on.

untrue. vents first boss was a joke. on proud mode. and ven is super fucking weak. (At that level)

Aqua D-link is really overpowered at the start of the game if you get level 2 asap. Without that Ven's first boss is no joke in Proud/Critical.
This game is definitely harder than previous KH games if you play it without overgrinding, this is the first time in a series I get killed by bosses 30-40 times in a row. It also forces you to guard attacks, something that was pretty unecessary in previous games unless you were doing a "no damage" challenge.

Of course it's a whole different story once you get Second Chance and things like that, but final and secret bosses are still a big challenge if you fight them at level 25 or below.

I didn't look at any guides on my first playthrough and Terra's final boss without Second Chance/No More/Renewal Guard was a bitch in Proud Mode.

i started the game as terra, i dont use Dlink. and the reason to block in this game is called renewal block. free hp refill ftw.
i died the first time bc i was toying with the config to the record prog and my gf thought it was recording her voice. the video is unedited btw.

You need a male to male audio cable to do sound. Just plug it in the PSP headphone port and your PCs microphone port, then tell whatever you use to record to take audio from there. I use Hypercam personally, but it shouldn't make any difference. I don't think RemoteJoys built in recording records sound, I tried a couple times and then just went with the easier option after it didn't work.

I'll warn anyone who's using RemoteJoy, on my PSP-3000 (not the ideal candidate for using homebrew on in the first place) I crash about 50% of the time when trying to save while RJ is active.

I can't just remove it and save, then put it back on, either.

It does no harm to anything, but don't be like me and grind 20 levels, beat the final chapter, and crash when saving your cleared save.

Never had that issue in any game so far on a 2000, and I use it a lot. It apparently did that a lot with 1000s (decent chance of crashing during saving/loading). There's some button on RemoteJoy that stops the stream which you can use whenever you save. One of the function keys, maybe F4 but too lazy to test right now.

I hope that's a sign KH3 will use the Command Deck like in BBS. No way they could downgrade back to using MP.

Hard to say it's much of a downgrade imo. More of a sidegrade than anything.
I honestly don't feel that the command deck wouldn't work better with these timers than it would if we had the same sort of system but instead of timers limiting the abilities... us having an overall MP value and each of the commands having a cost instead of a timer.

Both work, but I think MP would work better (for me anyway)


The previous system wasn't bad either. Don't feel command deck was an upgrade at all, just different.

Magic Hour is pretty cool, too, but Time Splicer is my favorite Physical Command so far. I still have a few commands I need to unlock, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any better than Time Splicer.
