I probably just tried around 70 times with ventus. Most of my deaths occur within the first 10 seconds of the battle too, either from 2x of that capture beam or 3-5x ability tornado. Spamming square works most of the time, but sometimes he just decides he wants to win and gets in a hit anyway

Weird, I remember being able to just roll right into him when he had raging storm up and never getting touched. /shrug

And stuff like this (the part where he rolls right in the middle of all the clones) is just sick too.

yea sometimes if you end your roll too close it'll get through, even if you're spamming.

Usually though it's that stupid beam, which is easy enough to avoid although sometimes the collision detection is way off and he'll grab you even though you're clearly not touching it, and if you get hit by it you can be sure he'll use it right away while you're still staggered and kill you before you have a chance to heal.

I don't even really see the point of second chance/once more because he really seems to enjoy killing you while you have 1HP and are just trying to dodge roll for long enough to have an opening to cure.

God, yes... so fucking true and the biggest thing about the fight that pissed me off is this right here.

to be honest I'm not sure why we let S-E get away with such malarky. The stagger-on-hit thing nearly ruins the arena and all the secret bosses, most of which are more cheap than difficult. The computer overtly cheats at rumble racing and I refuse to believe that it's just bad luck that I roll six 1's in a row on the command board. It's a shame really, they could definitely have turned what's arguably the strongest command/ability/battle system of the series into a bunch of fun, skill-based fights, but instead they decided to just go with fuck-you-instant-win spammage.

Also... about KH2FM+ bosses, this was the hardest one and you can see it's fun-looking and NOT a bullshit fight.

loltriplepost... ok all done, pretty much 100% completion of the Reports/Trinity Archives menu. Turns out I was just missing the Giga Attack/Magic Recipes. The only thing I'm missing is the trophy for beating the story on critical mode, maybe some day but after 224 hours I am beyond tired of this game lol
