Xehanort will most certainly reappear in a future game - as his Heartless and Nobody were slain in that order.

Is there a reason for that order to be important? I haven't played Birth by Sleep yet, so that may be why I don't know what they mean by that.

Few worlds in to Aqua's story now. Game is a ton of fun unsurprisingly, first couple of bosses were very disappointing though. First one didn't even hit me once and the second one only hit me 'cause I tried reflecting it's projectile (does not work at all). There's a translation patch that translates most of the menus and stuff, so very easy to play through like this.

Nimoy speaking as Master Xhenort threw me off for a moment. Terra's voice is eh, Ventus is good, and Aqua's voice is glorious.

Septemebr 7th is the release date or 10th according to the trailer.

I haven't really been reading too much about this game, but what was going on with that Mario Party looking mini game in that trailer? >.> This game seems like it has a lot more mini games going on than the console games.

edit: Still looking forward to this game though. The last KH I played was KH2, the rest didn't really interest me.

It's surprisingly more like Monopoly than Mario Party. It's a minigame you can play for some rewards (also playable in multiplayer). I think the game forces you to do it once, but it may be skippable, I didn't even try. Then again, I only played Aqua's story (waiting for English to 100% it), maybe you're forced to in all three.

After KH 3DS, and RE:Coded comes out on the DS. Nomura said his team will finally be able to get KH3 out by 2012(he hopes).

Wondering the same too. I could play chains of memories but for some reason I just couldn't get into the DS game. Maybe I'll try again before this comes out.

hmm since BBS is a prequel I don't think any game is really necessary to play before it.

Yeah, not really worth playing the DS one under any circumstances, it was pretty subpar and the story is a total clusterfuck. All you're really missing out on is the story of Sora clone #5195.

Days really has almost no bearing on the overall story, seriously.
You can completely skip it and you will probably have a BETTER understanding of the series by doing so.

That's good, cause the DS one was the only one I was likely not to play. Knowing the deal with KH and stories, I can see how less information = better understanding.

Ok good to know. I started 358/7 days and it was just so boring, can't get into it. I'll try again soon though.

There are obvious connections between 358/2 days and BBS so I recommend playing it.
It takes a while to get fun but once it does it's pretty addictive (even though it will destroy your left thumb but so does almost every DS game) and the second half of the story is well done and on par with the PS2 titles.
The story isn't hard at all to understand if you have played CoM and KH2 Final Mix+, else it's going to be pretty confusing. Youtube can fix that.

It isn't that the game's story is hard to understand as much as it is that some of the information presented in Days is a clear contradiction to things stated in previous games in the series.
Also, there's nothing to be missed in the story of BBS if you haven't played Days or really ANY of the other games for that matter except KH2: FM+ which never came out in the US anyway.
