I wanted to shed some light on the last 2hr used on the SE video by AV. Really this info seems mildly useless but maybe someone will have some thoughts. BTW this is my first post so I feel obligated to say, I didn't read any of the thread, including the OP,

Actually, I thought that emote thing was pretty smart thinking Bartlett. Good job on not only recognizing something but testing your theory and posting results even though it failed. I hope you are still battling AV. ^^
Ok so on to what someone in my LS deduced. At the end of the SE videos (all versions) AV uses a yellow colored dust cloud 2hr. According to Bartlett's site: Yellow = Benediction, Invincible, Soul Voice, Meikyo Shisui, Call Wyvern, Astral Flow. Sorry I need 10 posts to post a website, but you can find the link throughout the thread.
The english version of the video shows the team locking Soul Voice, Chainspell, Call Wyvern. SV, Astral Flow, Meikyo Shisui on the JP video. The french version shows Astral Flow being locked, 100 fist (interestingly enough they do not showing it being locked, and furthermore at the end I do not see a mnk there), and Chainspell being locked. Finally the german version shows Astral Flow, Soul Voice and Meikyo Shisui all being locked. You can find these videos on Wiki's AV post. Ok, here is when it gets really weird. Assuming it is all the same fight on each version (because it looks like the same version with different cameramen and slightly different footage at times) then we can eliminate Soul Voice, Meikyo Shisui, Call Wyvern, and Astral Flow because they have all been locked on the video. AV, at the end of the video, has bracelets on and according to the OP AV will use his 2hrs in combinations of 3. The cloud was yellow at the end therefore it had to be one that isn't locked, and all that is left are 2 of them. Invincible starts the combination... someone posted that Invincible was locked on the video, but I have not found Invincible being done by AV let alone locked so I would challenge someone to tell me the time AV uses and has Invincible locked. It is entirely possible my LS somehow missed it. Some other things to note are the sam does do a WS at the end after being stunned and I guess it is possible that the sam did a SC but switched gear therefore not creating an animation... only I can't see the sam blink. There is a cloud animation in the way so it is possible I just can't see the sam blinking. Anyway, if you look at when AV dies (especially at a different angle then the NA version) there seems to be a lightning to the face which could have killed AV.

Has it been confirmed beyond reasonable doubt that chi blast does full damage during bracelets mode? Plus, has anyone found any other attacks that do full damage, besides Spirits Within? Also, Bartlett, or I guess anyone else, have you guys discovered anything new? Just because you quit VS doesn't mean your sig hasn't inspired others.

AV's Benediction seems to unlock his locked regen.
(The current day's element part only, I think.　The JoL pet part wouldn't because we have no way to kill them again.　Locked 2hrs will never be unlocked no matter what.)

It was last Sunday's fight.　After we judged locking regen to be done, our BLMs started to nuke constantly.　At HP83%, AV activated Benediction. BLMs didn't care about it and kept nuking.　But it was very clear to everyone that his HP suddenly got hard to decrease.　(Our giving damage was same. Non-resisted IV gave about 500 and AMII did 700-800.)　So, we had to cast a lot of Dia again to re-lock it (It was Lightsday).　I heard this information a long time ago and didn't believe it at that time. But I kinda do now.

That's what I personally got new.　If I have to add more... I say that we usually use a Lv5 DRG mule to lock Call Wyvern.　The mule throws a pebble, waits for his CW and counter it. This works pretty well.　Lv75 is not required to lock 2hrs.

I hope the dv team to reveal the final AV trick at the coming Fest, too. They've finally released relic and mythic weapons for prize. Then why not the final trick ?

Oh, by the way, Gtype. What happened to you ? You usually speak a lot. Let me listen to you more.

I kinda came to the conclusion to lock 2hrs first before working on regen just to be safe. I know it was mildly debated throughout the thread (including VS) wether or not it's auto-regen came back after bene or if it was just its 1% regen so I went with the safer decision.

In my experience, regen has stayed locked after Benediction, though he does seem to have some natural regen. Same for wipes as well.

I noticed this on our fights as well (if you're willing to read back like... 30 pages, you can see me posting about it, then proceeding to get flamed for this and other retarded statements I made). We got him down to 87% using nukes as our only damage, he used benediction, and after that we couldn't get him below 98% for longer than a few seconds. It doesn't seem to take as long to relock regen as it does to lock in the first place, but I have a feeling it builds up the more times he uses benediction. As though we didn't have enough reason to lock benediction on the first try.

^Yes I agree if they saw a AV kill they took pics and if they don't have pics they lied about the kill. You usually don't bullshit so i hope this to be true
