Now they showed 4 different parts of the fight. They also showed step 1,2,3 in the video. Step 4 is in the video but nobody can figure out what it is. The only thing I notice is before each person WS the SATA.. AV can be defeated today it's just most linkshells that can kill it already got the drops from zergs and have no motivation to kill it.

Think about what you actually wrote. There is absolutely no reason people would stop trying to kill it until we get it to farmable level. I am much more likely to believe that it is currently being farmed until a shell gets 10+ sashes, etc. to throw on the market one by one, after a Mog Bonanza.

People rather farm Sandworm, Tiamat, etc. for gils. People are stuck in a time warp in this game. Instead of trying to lock down all zones for the shadow lord bcnm everyone is at Fafnir in 2010.. Reminder 2010.. People in this game just follow everyone else instead of creating their own path. Do you really think AV is unbeatable? I dunno where the video is now but Apathy got AV down to like 55% They got the first 3 steps right now all that's needed is the last step. The last step is in the video in the last clip...

MarsRing is great for any job that can't use Blitz exluding ApocDRK. It is also great for Multihit WSs which rely on ACC and are generally low on ATT. It is great on HNM since you aren't capping ACC with meat nor ATT in most situations. Its the opposite of the STR6 and DEX6 rings which are always referred to after a "if blank is capped then." Nobody would put Mars in storage because they have blitz/str6/dex6 rings and anyone that denies how good it is can be found wanting.

Damn... so this "JP" Link shell figured it out that it was just a spamming of holy that lowers meteor to manageable levels, and even Square Enix didn't even realize!?

more hypothesizing:

1) 1 of each jailor weapon has to proc a/one/a single/just one virtue stone hit (virtue stone proc'd double attack must land for greater than 0 dmg)
2) this part of the "strategy" must be completed after A. locking regen through spells, B. locking 2hrs through skill/wizzilebits (which is what the community is now calling wizbot, i totally read it on BG so that's what it's called now)
3) the 7 weapons must proc for damage before Bracelets come out.
4) once 7 Virtue stone procs (1 for each weapon) for damage occur, regular melee with weapons that put in real work (like gungnir, the greatest weapon in all of the lands) can be used.

VARIATIONS:
(the below is after regen and after 2-hr locks)
1: Melee with only jailor weapons to "affect" meteor, UNTIL bracelets come out.
2: after 2hr lock, stop all magic spell damage, melee only (dunno if this has been tried) (jailor weapons or not)

Were i'd like to see this thread focus for a bit, because I have some questions
the Final scene in SE's video where AV hits the deck.

1. What spells are those that land on AV, and what spell is that, that lands on the 3 people engaged to him
2. is the BLM not casting on AV for a reason?
3. is there a reason it's a dragoon that walks into view to engage AV? (personally dont't think it has anything to do with a specific job per-se, just wonder what everyones thoughts are.
4. Can I get an idea of what weapons, (throughout the video) are being used on AV? (I really only thought I saw a hope staff once, honestly, but it wasprobably just an earth/terra's)

AVs bracelets are on "backwards" and each time you sneak attack them (from the front of his body on the sides), you do a crit hit obviously and it slows down the rotating speed of the bracelets. The slower they rotate, the more his Magic attack bonus, melee bonus, and defense bonus all go down.

His meteor gets as weak as the 79% version and his aeroga 4 with baraera and best geared barspell WHM with buffs can hit almost for 100 dmg to a fully buffed PLD with aegis. When absorbed by 8 people with good wind MDB set plus phalanx, magus roll, stoneskin etc.

His attack power goes back to when he was at 100% and his defense bonus goes back to when he was at 100% taking 100% full damage from magic, melee, chi blast etc.
Each time he uses a 2 hour in bracelets, it slows down a little more and gradually goes back up every min if you do not sneak attack order him. Mighty strikes does not work or only works once every 2 hours per WAR obviously.

All secrets to AV have finally been unlocked. Now you need to fight against the two hour time limit, bring ALL the proper jobs to lock 2 hours, and stay alive for as long as possible good luck!!!!! AV secrets are all revealed. Close the thread now peace.

We tried this, but couldn't break 38%. DMG taken is cut by more than half and you have to deal with back to back 2hr. In our case it like to use 100F and BW in combination when Alex buff wore off...in both attempts we did.
