We are still working on a solid strategy to defeat AV. We seem to have it down. We have a mathematician and a chaos theory guy in our clan and we think we have cracked the code. We will find out this week if it works because last time we got him pretty low in hp. This time I think we can take him out with some very minor changes.

Do you eat meteors in bracelet mode for mega damage, avoid them, or somehow negate it? I think at this point in time that's the only thing that has stopped us from taking it down.

Also does it still build what appears to be a damage resistance proportionate to it's lost HP (at 60% HP, it has a 40% damage reduction, etc)?

As the mobs HP decreases so does the damage Zantesuken does, we're concerned about the last 40% of AV, so this is not a viable option. There is no such thing as a Zantesuken zerg to dead only a front end Zburn, effective for speeding up a fight in it's beginning stages.

On an unrelated note, I don't know if raising cap to 80 in June will make AV THAT much easier. 85 though in October definitely will though. What are other peoples' thoughts on this?

Don't worry, you wouldn't have offended me. The discussions earlier in the thread on that issue talked about what fighting AV would be like at level 99, which won't happen till the end of the year at the earliest. I could post the link, but I echo your concerns.

Given enough (skilled) players, a solid strategy, and good luck, it will be as feasible to kill AV in his current form @ Lv.80/85 as it is right now @ Lv.75. I'm saying "current form" 'cause there's still the possibility that SE is going to adjust AV's Lv. (in fact there's a 50% chance that they're going to adjust his Lv. and a 50% that they're not).

To be very accurate, there's a 0.0000000000000.....000001% chance that he's being killed right now, a 0.0000000000000.....000001% chance that he's being killed in 0.0000000000000.....000001 seconds, a 0.0000000000000.....000001% that he's being killed in 0.0000000000000.....000002 seconds etc. etc.

However, you're asking for speculation, but this thread is about Absolute Virtue Information. Of course this includes speculation in order to determine information about AV (e.g. theories regarding the weakening/locking of Meteor), but I do not see a point in discussing whether it will be feasible to kill him @ Lv.80/85 (or even 99) in this thread, as it certainly does not lead to any information regarding Absolute Virtue.
