It means fight him without multihit weapons and without feeding too much TP in hopes of trying to take him down as fast as possible and fucking up in the process. K-club drk and soboro sam and 6 brd songs on everyone with soul voice march songs isn't gonna cut it on AV. Just angon him at all times and fight him regular, meaning a standard AV party, not an all WAR all NIN all DRK pt, just use the standard party.

I remember about a year ago when a bunch of us were talking amongst PMs to release this information that started this thread. We had high hopes. I can safely say that in 87 pages, there has not been a single useful piece of information gained in here outside the new avatars (which weren't out yet) attempt pic DaFunk posted that we did not already have via PM conversations. I suppose SCH burn is another exception but that was done in secret too.

Just make you think how on earth SE dev team managed to pull off the fight without Group II merits (I could be wrong on this one), PLD updates and Alexander's 2hr. If SE can do it with some Earth staff wielding PLDs and JSE SAM, there must be a way to weakend Meteor and bypass AV increadibly strong defense towards the end of the fight assuming they didn't use any cheat.

SE should really introduce an ENM version of AV fight so that players can actually test various theories without having to worry about exp loss.

So you really don't think procing virtue stone weapons on AV, to affect either his damage taken as HP reduce, or to lock and/or weaken meteor, after you've locked regen/2hr is a viable technique to try?

As for the asshole that posted above you, I never claimed to defeat AV otherwise I would show you the title. I post every 3 months cause you bump the thread when AV is old news. I let the thread die along time ago but some clown always comes in and mentions my name.

AV has been figured out a long time ago, why don't you think we haven't posted in 5 months.

You spam holy on PLD and WHM to lower meteor's damage (confirmed) and everyone in the entire alliance and ppl outside the ally watching him equip virtue stones (not the weapon just the stones) to decrease the amount at which he uses meteor (verification).

By 10% HP his -DMG taken is extrememly HIGH but angon and souleater will help and is almost mandatory in taking away his last 10% health. You need a DRG and DRK or /drk to win.

If you don't believe me look around on ffxiah and you will see brand new AV titles dated FEB 2010 (under the titles section with the date) from people who have never zerged him in the past and some of them wil be sporting rings they never had before to back it up.

At level 99 you won't need to lower his regen all the way, or lock most of his 2 hours, or even lock his meteor possibly. So it doesn't matter either way, no sense in lying. Now close this thread, it went through enough pages. Its been solved.

Aside from the pre-nerf zergs, AV will not be beaten until the level cap is raised.

Absolute Virtue is a way to keep that $12.95 a month coming in. By the time the level caps are raised to 99 FF14 will be out and by that time SE will have new ways of bringing in that same $12.95 a month. SE is smart, we are dumb.
