so I think the LS that will try AV this Saturday should try to land ES slow after locking bst or smn , then after both of them, and after all 2hrs locked. also might add all other enfeebles after full lock.

Weighing in my amazing opinion, but I am nearly certain I recall Slow being landed during the Kraken zerging days of AV. I recall seeing it during a video and flipping the fuck out, but I don't know how extensively it's been tested since then (after all it was immune before, so why re-test after every patch?).

No I didn't try light resist set, and I'm not sure why you put that in caps, like you are god for knowing something because one time you had a carbuncle out and it resisted? If it is light also, that means you can easily get a combined resist of over 300 I'm sure.

Oh, I don't know. I haven't checked. As for the caps VS, it was a joke (Last time people brought up the wikia as definitive source of information on Meteor's element, which they claimed was light. Then people started commenting on the fact it's "Special" in the DATs, and it may be an amalgamation of different elements, etc etc etc. Explaining this joke makes it so much less funny. And it wasn't even all that funny to begin with )

I wouldn't be surprised personally if meteor was all elements, I mean we got the asteroid (earth), ice in meteor (ice), heat from friction (fire), steam from ice melting as it falls (water), expanding air from the intense heat (wind), lightning from the intense friction (thunder), glowing hot rock from the heavens (light), and it came from the void of space (darkness)

So maybe any elemental build would work. :s can't hurt to test... well ok, maybe it does hurt. lol

Comets have ice, not meteors. Lightning is caused by ice falling and knocking electrons off the mist in clouds, not from the heat of friction. At least get your science right >.>

On the subject of suzaku and silence, I thought it was concluded that the NM posseses the resist silence trait which has a very high proc rate. Its very likely AV has even higher proc rates and every resist trait so the chance of resist trait not procing is already low enough to cause confusion.

Resist slow or not, there is a minimum 10% chance of landing, regardless of magic evasion and job trait. It's game mechanics, but maybe you will find an argument against that ? Do you deny also that melee accuracy can go beyong 95% or below 20% ?

They don't lower the the minimal landing rate, nor up the maximal landing rate, they lower the maximum landing rate. Unless you can give me a mob that has less than 5% landing rate, you are full of shit. The only plausible explanation as to why someone managed to land slow on AV is that they did something to AV, wether they are aware of it or not. Keep denying the obvious.

I always thought resist traits were the cause of the "Resist!" messages when they proc'd.
Suzy (just fought last night and actually landed 2x silence on it) just has a normal Resist message which i've associated with "it just missed or shrugged off"
