    Perhaps a certain emote has a % chance to interrupt his cast but works occasionally like Cursna on Doom. Just thinking of how /kneel /heal spares your from Zantetsuken.

    Well this thread is certainly becoming just as shitty all the past ones. I have no idea why people just slam countless retarded theories and then the logistics of said retarded theories instead of debunking already credible ones first before moving on to another. Just leads to the debunked and not tried being covered in a sea of idiocy.

    Whoever said put on meteor cesti and punching the meteor's back has basically summed up 90% of the posts in the thread in an albeit hilarious manner.

It might be a good idea to see which members are succesfully locking and which are failing and try and look for a pattern, as they might not be failing out of bad luck but instead some unknown factor the successful lockers are sharing, gear, race, who knows.

    Now that we know 2 hours can be locked mayeb we should stop trying to test things that make it easier to lock, but instead one by one eliminate all possible variables in locking a 2 hour until we either find a continous factor among all 18 succesful lockers they share, or are able to determine there is no way to influence your chance at locking the move.

    1. many groups have done no dd whatsoever outside of what is required to break regen before beginning the actual fight.

    2. He probably notices it the same people locking because they are using god damned on event like most of the other linkshells that are actively trying. It has NOTHING to do with race/height/face/whatever bs you can think of it only comes down to matching AV's 2hr with the similar 2hr within 3 seconds. NOTHING ELSE

    2. Well the insulting way of speaking is a bit uncalled for. Are you saying that with instant reaction via program you are having a 100% lock every time? I never said it was race height, just saying if it isn't 100% lock chance it might be that certain individuals are somehow doing something extra we are overlooking to successfully lock the move, while others are not.

    If it is 100% lock every time on every one then yes, I agree, race height hair color and penis size clearly aren't having an effect on your chance of locking.

    Not sure what you are referring to here, but if you mean whether or not Meteor will hit the players on the top the answer is no it won't.

    hey VS...quick question since it seems youve done a lot of testing. killing JoLs summons we all know helps break AVs regen. however do you know to what extent. our ls typical sits there at 10% on JoL waiting for the frikken sharks to come out and usually wastes about 20 mins. now...say we didnt wait for sharks only. i know this would mean AVs regen would be "stronger" but would it last any longer in duration or be harder to break i guess would be a better way of putting it. or does "stronger" regen simply mean he gets more hp back per tick but its just as easy to break? my idea is we say f it with waiting for sharks to save time since we dont usually deal dmg to AV while were locking 2 hours anyways (we have a couple blms casting ele of day to break regen while we lock 2 hours). think itd save any time? thx

    Has anyone tried having only jobs 2 hours that havent been locked around AV. Everyone else staying a certain distance away from AV? In vid they show sam drk pld rdm blm(might just be there for camera?) and a whm a certain distance away. A drg runs up at very end and AV replies with a 2 hour and a tp move in bracelets mode. Or vice versa Have the only jobs around or fighting him are the ones that are locked? Or possibly can only lock 7 2 hours since that is the key number in sea? Sorry for so many theories.

    locking 2h and breaking regen appear to be something that can be done at any time during the fight. the reason people are trying to lock 2h at the start w/o doing real dmg is that they really just can't handle things like manafont causing a wipe mid fight. additionally so many jobs are needed in the ally to start locking that no real dmg can begin sense everyone is waiting for the 2h animation. after a few are locked (hopfully the big ones) you can get some blm in to spam nukes to work on regen and eventually even start pushing it down. none of this is really a problem at this time. the problem is how to get from 59% to 0%. even when 2h are locked there are still several big nukes/nasty abilites and high def to deal with.

    the questions that need answers are:
    1. how to deal with AV's nukes (meteor specificly)
    2. how to deal effeciant dmg while avoiding zombie tatics

    umm in the link VS posted it says AV cant use Meteor/Comet unless he uses Manafont
    maybe in bracelet mode he auto manafont and you must lock it again ?

    and are AV pets useless ? cuz i checked wiki it says they are 250hp , i dont know why they are that low but im guessing they arent there for nothing..
    AV uses all 2hrs and is know to use/rape with BLM spells but actually SE made him a DRG, because only DRGs can call Aerns in Sea, SE wanted the aerns to be there for something and maybe the final trick is there...

    aaaah screw SE...

At 59% he switches to red bracelet mode, at which point he can use Manafont strength Meteor and Comet at will, which is the present stopping block no one can figure out how to overcome.

    Jobs mean nothing. He has a polearm and that is the extent of it.

    he uses AF doesnt mean he's SMN, he also uses 100fist does that make him MNK ? but he uses polearm, and only drg mobs can call wynavs in sea, aaaaaaaaaand he uses call wyvern too, makes him DRG but lets not repeat the mistake by talking about details and waste few posts/pages on nothing productive
