I remember a long time ago there was discussion about Readies vs Uses when it came to AV's 2HR's but I don't remember what the conclusion was. There were many theories about actions you do causing AV to "ready" a 2hr instead of use it, but I think most of those were either forgotten, debunked, or people stopped noticing/caring lol.
I still care, it seems most logical to me that this was the "intended" way to match 2Hs. But I don't think anyone has any clue what might cause it.
Idiots thought that 'readies' 2hrs were 'TP' 2hrs, incredibly embarrassing hypothesis by anyone who thought it. They also thought they were 'reactionary' like if you used a certain ability it would react with a 2hr, in effect punishing you, which was also embarrassing.
Um.. It kind of is reactionary. It reacts to you being there and I don't know what adjective you think is appropriate for what AV dishes out but "punishment" certainly fits the bill.
In all seriousness, the reaction theory was sound at the time it was proposed. However it's pretty clear at this point that AV's two hours are non-reactionary. I don't know about the rest of his AI.
Not if you ever actually fought the monster. Anyone would know that no ability a player did made it 2hr, and ANYONE who thought that simply looked at when it 2hred and tied w/e random fucking action someone was doing with triggering that 2hr. The theory was so sad. Obviously someone that was in agreement with this theory would refute my statement tho.

I do not think it means what you think it means.
You wanted Refute, perhaps?
Rebuke –verb (used with object) 1. to express sharp, stern disapproval of; reprove; reprimand.
–noun 2. sharp, stern disapproval; reproof; reprimand.
Based on what have been discovered so far about locking AV's 2hr, the way SE team handled the fight doesn't make much sense.
Assuming the video was made legitimately, there is no guaranteed way to match AV's 2hr. Without using 3rd party tools, BLMs and WHMs should take turn to use manafont and benediction. However, in SE video many of their members spammed 2hrs at the same time. There are 2 possible explanations: 1) hitting AV with multiple matched manafont somehow weakens AV or 2) Meteor has been blocked through a different mean thus it's not necessary to stop AV from using manafont.
The relatively unimpressive gear selection of SE team and the fact that there is no video scene of AV using Meteor seem to favour the 2nd scenario. No way SE could have survived through the fight unless they managed to block Manafont first time their members spam 2hrs. All these hints seem to indicate that AV has no access to meteor right from the beginning and the secret to block meteor lies in JoL. This actually echoes the same theme which influences the design of CoP dynamis bosses.
SE have repeatedly mentioned all the clues can be found on the video, if this is true then Ru'phuabo should be the key. Perhaps when Sundi mentioned regen issue he was referring to JoL, killing as many Ru'phuabo as possible (until JoL stops summoning Ru'phuabo?) will eventually drops JoL regen completely and prevent AV from using meteor. This could have been overlooked esp. after 2hr despawn patch.
Qn'phuabo has existed in the Al'TAieu dat files for a long time but has never been seen in the game. Perhaps after killing certain number of Ru'pJoL will start summoning Qn' version? Of course this is pure speculation plus it's not hard at all to test the theory, just hold JoL at 1% and keep killing Ru'phuabo.
My ls usually does JoL with 12-15 ppl. Our last JoL had some new members and it went for a hella long time. An hour 30 minutes or so (yes it's pathetic I know). We hold 2 sharks so it might be not be correct, but JoL never stopped spawning adds. I wasn't paying attention whether they popped Qn' or Ru' but I don't think they did.
Just discovered tonight that AV has alliance hate. I was trying to deathwarp after JOL and I guess everyone wasn't too happy after that.
They disband for horde lullaby, DUH!
Clearly in jest, but TOO BAD, ITS ME BLACKSMITH!
(If you know the reference, you are awesome.)
Ally hate? From what I remember my link shell usually have one person to act on it when it pop then die so AV wont kill our ally. Unless we're talking about AV after it goes hate less after it spawn.
