Killing the enemies around AV will blah blah blah , as stated by SE interview. Anyone else find it ironic none of the mobs around the pop point are up in their video, yet everyone on BG forums complains and flames anyone who says killing them has some significance?
Another day, another dozen ill informed posts in the AV thread.
Maybe i should clarify exactly what i mean. How many of the people who have melee burned JoL down quickly have even got AV past 59% to see what his bracelet meteor damage is like?
Also, if you were to melee burn it, you didnt break its regen so what is the fucking point? Yeah i know people like Kaeko have said that even killing JoL without killing enough pets will make his regen low enough to kill, but IMO if SE is telling us to kill the fucking pets... we should kill them.
So why not play there fucking game and do it exactly how they want you to do it and just face tank JoL, kill it slowly including all the pets, and then see what happens?
God came to me in a dream and told me that it is my solemn duty in life to seek out and correct everyone who ever takes the Staova "interview" seriously. I've already quoted it 3 times before in this thread, so I'll give you the tl;dr:
Staova is a lying douchebag, his "interview" is counterfeit, and everything he mentions in it is therefore grounded on nothing more than the ramblings of a mentally challenged newb who can't even spell the word "aern".
Staova has single-handedly done more damage to the community efforts against AV than any other person in history. He is the patron saint of people who have never seen AV first-hand, but have a billion theories that we need to test for them anyways.
In the video, I see AV "readies" Chainspell, but a black mage uses Manafont right after AV "uses" Chainspell. If the 2hr is supposed to be matched to lock it, why would a dev team black mage use his 2hr when he obviously had the forewarning with the "readies" message that it would not be his 2hr being used?
On the instant uses of 2hr abilities, I can understand the reaction of "dust cloud = use 2hr", but when there's a warning that he's using a particular 2hr, I don't see the point of them using it just to waste a 2hr that wasn't being used.
Those would be reasonable responses if it were a player made video, but I can't buy it as easily since it was made by the dev team. It's easy to write off shit we don't understand as "they suck", but c'mon. They're the ones that made the damned thing.
How do people not understand the incredibly ridiculously simple notion that they were told to merely 2hr no matter what 2hr it was when they saw a dust cloud, so as to hint at what to do without giving the exact answer, thus the player base would still have to figure it out which took around a year I think. You see, they were all told to 2hr instantly no matter what 2hr, it is so simple to understand, so so so simple.
Exactly.... it was a hint, not a give-a-way.
