Love how they got us all excited about their serious attempt, only to say that they wiped and basically have never tried this before and do not know what they were doing. Way to get everyone's dick semi-hard in the hopes you were an experienced group that was going to try or potentially discover something new. Don't call it an attempt if you don't know what you are doing.

Nobody ever got excited, except the few idiots (that don't play/don't have sea/don't kill JoL - like the majority of the posters on BG and in this thread in particular) that asked for a "streaming". Like anyone cares - if you want to be useful, do a megaupload vid.

I gota say that i read the posts and was like, "um, wait are they really going to try to zerg at 40%?" But, the confusion was removed when i saw that this was their first time. then i laughed. Thank you for the laugh. Thank you for displaying interest in AV, and making an attempt at it. We need more LS's willing to do so. The few who do are more than jaded wit this fight. Rightfully so... Please continue to test, experiment.

For a first step, id advise getting your groups timing down for locking its two hours. It is not as easy as it sounds. But if you get get your group familiar with locking its two hours, you already placed your LS above most others where this fight is concerned. while your at it, you canbreak its regen as much as possible.

secondly, learn how to hold AV. Again, its not as easy as it sounds. He strikes fast and hard. But, once you lock AV's two hours, holding him becomes a bit easier. And you should already have its regen knocked down enough to put damage on it. Then you get him down to bracelets mode, and hit the same road block that everyone has ran into. He gets meteor back. And can cast it, suposedly, at will...

Once you have an idea, that hasnt been tested, for getting past the road block its good to post that you are attempting something on AV. If you dont, sadly, many here will think you are wasting thier time. Then they start slinging poo like angry monkeys lol. Honestly, if you are testing something to break through bracelets meteor, without the confidence that you stand a decent chance at getting it to bracelets... (meaning youve done it before) then there is no point in posting that you are about to challenge AV.

Another time to post would be if you came across something that makes the fight easier. Someone ealier was confident that emotes made locking the 2 hours easier. After testing, it proved to be an incorrect assumption. But, it was worth examining as it has not been tested before.
