They applied to our LS, main Leader meant to post this, Is there anything we should know about them? On Ramuh they were in Insurrection LS, left because of disagreements with a leader. Looking forward for an answer thank you!

I was the leader that got into a "disagreement" with them. Basically, they joined early on when we were actively looking for members just to fill in the blank. At first, they were ok but I hardly payed attention till I became the shellholder a year into the shell. This is when their shitty play style was in plain view. To be blunt, they sucked. Pauldog couldn't keep a melee or anyone, for that matter, alive but she would always find time to raise them. She did have an excuse that fell on deaf after awhile; she has a kid. Now, I understand RL is greater than FFXi, however if you can't commit to two things, drop what's least important but she didn't. She continued sucking.

Akasephiroth was the same as his wife. His DRK was terrible as well as his NIN. He hardly made events due his work. On the day they left, the LS and had an agreement that they sucked and needed to step it up or leave. They didn't take this lightly as just as I was to break their pearl, they left the LS. They ended up joining a rival LS for a bit till they made their then quit/left that. I'm not in Ramuh but my old LS can attest to whatever I just said; they were garbage back then. But I don't know how they are now or if they got better.

I haven't been on the server in over a year but Aka was always a decent guy, His wife was really into girls though, cybering in KRT @ spook and what not. Aka was a little on the greedy side if i recall correctly, but that could be said for any crafter.

Knew them both for at least 2 years, never stole a dime or did anything questionable besides have a real life.

As stated by khalil, every time pauldog messed up she blamed it on her kid. Which was quite often.

I don't reccomend them, nice people however.

I would have to ask the 'top members' for refresh and ballad at every event i attended, it got to a point i had stop asking because it just wouldn't happen at all.

Our mages usually had to cure bomb our party members, some of them couldn't take the hint to remove their ridill/KC to save MP (every fight was treated like a zerg), or take the initiative to use shadows.

Akasephiroth and Pauldog were cool people, i didn't talk to them to much with my stay in Insurecttion, but the times i did it was pleasant. I would give them a shot, there was A LOT of MP sponges in Insurrection. Bloodsunday had a lot of members that were either noobs, or just getting into HNM.

Ohh god...Your whole story is fucking fake except the part about the Ridill/Joy, where our merit WARs would use that for Colibris. I'd actually like you point which member used Ridill/KC at all events like you claim. Name him/her or them because I'd actually like to know.

Raising a child isn't easy (i don't have any of my own. but i've help a few friends and family members with money and food etc. when the father ran out on them), Paul deserves to have her own free time. Bringing up personal stipulations is pathetic, at least Aka is working, he knows his role in the relationship, family first. They look at this probably like a hobby, something to have fun, relax and chat with friends, where you treat this as a lifestyle.

You do realize that you've just supported Khalil's main and crucial point? That is, these two players are at times unreliable due to RL circumstances, and that it is not a rare event. As far as FFXI is concerned, their reliability and status is the only relevant factor. If people are willing to tolerate said behavior, then good for them, these are people they can consider recruiting. For LSs looking for dependable players, this may not be the couple you want to pick up. It's as simple as that.

kk my turn got a few things to address here, my play times are anytime mon-thurs fri-sun anytime after 10pm and sometimes from work with slow wireless net. now as for khalil who must not remember much but his words excatlly was "you guys are great camper's but you need to work on your skill or your gone" this is what lead to us leaving/kicked from insur, i have no problem taking advice but when asked what i was doing wrong all khalil could say was, stop zerging in dusk jerkin (that i had sold 3 weeks pior to this), hell i know that some times paul would fail to keep everyone alive but this is what was expected of her much like ameow said, 1 whm would be excepted to keep 16 zergers and the main tank alive. Now as for Nakedsnake that was not a NQ behe it was a day 6 behe i joined the shell to do HNM's i need nothing from Behe nor did paul yet we relized a day 6 behe was more important then a dyanmis that could be done anytime when you only camped HNM's if there window was between 5pm-11pm est much like BS did, if you dont wanna camp HNM's dont list it as part of the agenda, yet even though this is was leaded to the warnings issued it was not this that pissed me off and why i left but it was warnings issued bye the leader who had been told I was not on my char and that i would not even be on that weekend to boot. Lastlly as for skill in insurrection i was not the most skilled player but who was in there first endgame shell? I have helped out here with this shell a bit and as for skill they have seen for themself what they would need to see. as for whoever you are about the claimbotting all i can say is go back to 2004 and grow up. lastlly would like to note on the fact that most of the info from this is coming from the guy who left his shell with no warning to die so he could better himself thank on that everyone before you continue to post here.

She has no clue how to do a proper stoneskin (or even what it is), only knows to cast Cure IV, never remembers to Reraise herself, and is quite good at casting Raise. I once suggested to her that she make sure she's not in a vital party role, such as main tank party whm, and she threw a fit at me about her extremely important baby (even though I all suggested was that she just request a move to a slightly less vital party for events). They were okay people, slightly weird and a bit difficult to carry on a conversation with, but nice enough. They'd be okay for filling up spots with warm bodies as long as they're not given important duties and not pushed too far.

I haven't been in a ls with Aka and Paul for a very long time... last one was back in '04, maybe '05? in OldSchOOlerS and PrideX I think?

Since then we've crossed paths and done a few random things together like Nyzul and I helped them when they had a ls and they needed a tank for a few events.... Some sky gods, a few Einherjar runs, and such iirc?

On the sky gods and Einherjar runs I seemed to be Hasted and healed efficiently by Pauldog, granted I think she went afk between sky god kills to feed her boy and what not, but what's that really matter? it was between ??? pops.

As far as Aka goes, in the few zerg situations I've done with him he looked like he knew what he was doing... during the assaults and Einherjar runs etc though I was pretty focused on what I was doing, so I can't say for sure his play style during normal events.

I won't discredit that it's possible that these two have been given poor review by players, but if I were to nit pick at everyone I could find something wrong with them.

For example, Nakedsnake just god w legs. Effin noob. (luv u... nohomo.)

Bottom line, I'm more experienced with these people on a personality level, and they have priorities to say the least. Aka and Paul place their son above pretty much everything else, and I think that's pretty important, and says a lot about them. That, and I'm pretty sure Paul would help anyone out that, assuming she could.

It's important to note that I haven't been in a ls with them in a long time, so I'm sure there are many different perspectives on them, this is just mine.

Only thing I will stand up and call out in the thread is the statement that Aka claimbots, I haven't exactly heard this awesome rumor, do tell.

Btw, bro, claimbots aren't really a big deal anymore, (if anything, that's something people want in a HNM shell) you should lurk moar.

I have know Pauldog and Akasephiroth ever since I joined Zerg. Ever since I was in that ls, I heard and saw absolutely nothing about bots. I feel that each of them plays their job(s) to the fullest of their ability. Yeah some people want to reach for that higher plateau, they did what they needed and were supposed too. Both great people to exp, hang around and do events with.

The most thing that I absolutely love about both of them is that they will do almost anything for people if they asked. If I needed help with a specific nm, I always could lean on Pauldog and Aka to assist or help me out.
