The slow from Valhalla is subtracted from haste, and not calculated as a seperate term. (I think you meant how do I know it's not the reverse?)
I tested with other haste gear to make sure.
Dusk Gloves+1: 40/1024
Speed Belt: 61/1024
Homam Feet: 30/1024
Blitz Ring: 11/1024
Total Haste: 142/1024
Valhalla Helm + Breastplate: 110/1024
If Valhalla Gear is subtracted from haste it should work out as such:
(1 - (142/1024) + (110/1024) ) * 180 = 174.375 seconds
If Valhalla Gear is calculated as a seperate term, it should work out close to this: (Order and truncation would affect the actual number slightly.)
(1 - (142/1024) ) * (1 + 110/1024) * 180 = 171.69 seconds
When tested, the recast comes out to be 2:54 which fits the first scenario perfectly. I also tested with other March Speeds and Haste gear~
What isn't engageable?
JOL unless you want a tentacle through your ass(In which case you don't, you'd want a mach+1), or Tiamat if your LS doesn't believe in engaging(Haute).
edit: and yes, "stall scenarios"
JoL is acceptable, but Tiamat? That's just dumb.
And you should always engage during a "stall situation". Blinding potions are your friends.
Who the fuck carries a stack of blinding potions at all times? lol
Honestly, what is a Hauteclaire?
..
Oh, that thing that comes from Mog Bonanza, w
Not sure if this is the right topic, but has the mkd head been tested? I'm wondering if the 5% haste mkd head is more or less hate than turban.
Now THAT is an interesting thing to light the Kirschy signal for, as it is two combined haste values which may or may not be exactly 20/1024 and 30/1024, significantly enough over 50/1024 may be enough to make me have to reconsider the head I was gonna get.
