Man the Rams are awful. Where have I been? Have they been this terrible the past few years?

Rams are still in the league? They get lost in that abyss of west coast teams.
Jake Delhomme to miss the next game due to a torn labia.
A sore pussy is srs biz.
My day in Charlotte, NC.
Me and a real good friend of mine arrived at Bank of America Stadium today at around 10, to get in some tailgating (30-40 min drive from home). We took a case of beers, and a box of Bojangles (fried chicken)tailgating special. After eating our fill of Dirty rice, chicken, and Miller, we decided to walk around and scope out the other tailgaters and see what was going on. All in all, the atmosphere was amazing, more that what Ive ever felt at a panthers game.
A bit closer towards game-time, we found our way to out seats, section 536, Row 18, Seat 1. Real high up, the blue collar seats...my kind of people. After a quick observation of the fans around me, it seemed like there was 1 of everything. The girl who doesnt understand the game, The Delhomme compassion-er, The Delhomme hater, The John Fox lover/hater, and last but not least, A Ray Caruth jersey, which I found hilarious (awful, but awesome). So I felt right at home.
To anyone who has not been to a NFL game, it really is an experience to partake in, be you a football fan or not. The last time I was at a game was probably around 15-16, so it vaguely remember it. With me being 24 now, I feel like I can appreciate the atmosphere a bit more. The player introductions, the anthem, and the fighter jet fly-by made the hair on my arms stand up with excitement before the kickoff.
The game got underway, and the first drive was just what I needed to see. A solid drive with decent running and execution... untill we got to the 1 yard line.
You all know what happened I will assume so I wont get into specifics, but even though there was a TD scored, there were many things wrong with the end of that series. 2 False starts, and 2 timeouts (1 being a T.V. timeout I believe) to get a play off. The TD was nice and all, but it sent a feeling of woe over my body for what was about to come.
You all know how Jake Delhomme did, so I'll save that for later. But to touch a bit on reactions from other key players that I observed.
Willams had a great day rushing. The stat line might not say it too much, but when it was still close, he was averaging 4+ yards a carry. Jon Stewart not so much. I was hoping to see more from him.
Peppers did ok. 1+ million dollars good (which is what he will earn this past game, unless we make the playoffs)? I don't think so. He did block a FG, but it was really after the fact, when the game was well out of reach, and the Eagles were packing it in.
Steve Smith was LIVID during most of the game. I cannot tell you how open he was during most of his routes he was running. Many times he was jumping around, yelling, and throwing his helmet. I really like seeing his passion, even if it is released all over Ken Lucas' face.
And to Delhomme. 1 TD and 9 INT's in the past 2 games (both at home). I really don't know if you could hear the crowd well in the broadcast, but they were all over his shit. The boo's that were raining down from the seats were deafening.
But I seen more than that I believe. Watching his reactions, and his teammates reactions to him on the field/on the sideline, he is broken.
I watched a man completely unravel right in front of me. He lost his composure in such a way that you would see from a true freshman college QB from a mid major school playing in the Rose Bowl. His body language was so revealing as to how he's feeling. This isn't just a bad game. What this game did, to him, was verify all the doubts that might of been there from the Cardinals debacle. After he would throw an INT, he would literally just stand on the field, after the play was over, 20-30 secs with his hands on his hip, shaking his head. He is supposed to be the general on the field, the beacon if light when it looks dark and dim, but that really isn't him anymore.
Will he recover from this? I'm not a prophet or anything, but I really don't see it happening. He might have a good game against less-than-average teams, but when it matters? No, I don't think so. I think this solidified the doubt in his mind about his skills, for a while to come. When your teammates don't even come to your side on the sidelines to give you a "It's OK man." or a "We'll get them next time, shake it off.", It's not a good sign.
A lot of people were taking off Delhomme jerseys, and a couple were thrown in the trash.
And a word on John Fox. Good coaching leaving your starters in the 4th quarter when your down by 28 with no signs of improving. When Moose when down for a bit, I lost my mind.
Sorry about the wordy post, but I thought I would go through what I seen while there in person. Most of you guys are already posting about the evening games. Quietest drive up I-77 N in my life.
tl;dr - Matt Moore for starting QB yo.
But you guys just gave Jake that $....you're stuck. Worst move since drafting Ryan Leaf 1st?
Yeah man going into BofA stadium is an experience. Ive seen Jake first hand but didnt get to see him today because I am personally not using my PSL's until Fox, Jake and Hurney are gone.
I am done until that time arrives. I can only imagine how pissed off Smitty was during the course of the game, that is the shit you dont see on TV but when you see it in person its is painfully obvious.
Fuck Jake and fuck his emotions. Matt FUCKING Moore from this point on. He's proven himself with us when Jake had Tommy John surgery 2 years ago, its about time we move it on along.
I just realized Delhomme is my back up QB
its only 9 pics in his last 51 attempts. has to be some kind of record, at least panthers fans can feel good about that
my stream died right when Cooley got that TD and he's my favorite player...motherfucker.
Giants recovered the onside kick and are now kneeling. The game is effectively over.
the funny thing is if you just turned on the tv and saw 23-17 you'd think it might have been a good game, but no
Woooooooooooo 9ers!
