The Patriots have evil magic powers. I'll never forget watching the Patriots/Ravens game on Monday Night Football with Brian Baldinger and a producer at NFL Films during their perfect* season. We were supposed to be working on Playbook but ended up getting caught up in the Patriots insane comeback to win in the last minute that included a false start penalty on a 4th & 6 they initially failed to convert.

You mean the one where everyone in the ESPN booth was talking about how "this could be the night" from the 3rd play of the game? ESPN loathes the Patriots... and loves the Yankees, how could they be anything but evil.
