Obviously, trust source info at your own risk.

I found this excellent hack to disable GameGuard that seems to work well and the author seems to keep it updated so far. GameGuard will still try to run but without this hack if you cancel it you cannot run Aion and with this hack you can. After you install it delete the bin32 > GameGuard folder so that every time you launch Aion it has to update completely and you have time to cancel GameGuard from running.

if you can't play that's one thing but 99% of gameguard whining is about things like the G15 keyboard.

I have a G15 too. It freezes the display on whatever it was when it first goes fullscreen. I dont really care though.

it's not the g15 that don't work, it's the g13 game pads etc.

Personally for the time being I'd be more concerned about the fact you can't really even play the game right now due to how bad the lag is, assuming you can even logon, lol

iono when fiance and I beta tested, neither of ours would work cause of gameguard. Also, tried looking up for a fix and people were saying the same thing. Maybe they fixed it?

I dunno about keyboard issues but there are numerous other problems with GameGuard that do anything from crashing your game intermittently to crashing your entire computer intermittently if you have a certain software or hardware device that it doesn't like. I haven't heard of this one causing blue screens so far but there are definitely plenty people out there who have keyboard unrelated issues not just with Aion GG but with any game that runs GG. The worst version I've seen was on PSU. To me it's like windower on FFXI, if you used it you always knew you risked being banned, crashing and start-up errors are a bit worse than not wanting to accidentally alt-tab yourself though.

Game wouldn't launch for me when I had ZoneAlarm installed, so dunno if that's related to your issues or not.

Thats the original Site for fyyre. Personally im disabling that piece of shit rootkit anyways since it interferes with legit apps and in general is a useless program anyhoe. I regard NCsoft as a second rate MMO company and while aion is real shiny and all its not really gonna last if it keeps that piece of shit rootkit around. That and the possibility this will be l2 all over again. Biggest botted game ever.

I just picked up a G13 yesterday and for some reason when i launch Aion, the G13 freezes. Anyone know how to fix this? (Other then disabling GG)
