Yeah the only way to actually use the G13 atm is to kill GG (tho tbh yer better off killing that PoS rootkit regardless since it screws around with an OS too much unless yer using a 64bit system).

I just picked up a G13 yesterday and for some reason when i launch Aion, the G13 freezes. Anyone know how to fix this? (Other then disabling GG)

you have to disable GG in order for it to work. Shit's retarded.

I'd be careful about getting anything else (by that I mean, another gamepad) unless they make a statement about it. gameshield is meant to prevent any outside programs from working, and since game pads need a program to make them work....

if there's a gamepad that is working, there's nothing to say they won't patch it later on. best bet if you want a gamepad for aion return the g13 and just wait till you hear ncsoft on whether they plan on allowing them in the future.

My gameguard bitches at me, so I ignore the window. The game pops up a notification that it will be closing in 10seconds, so I X out that window and keep playing. Hasn't stopped me yet :D

I dunno how the g13 works, but with the n52te you use a program to assign the buttons and then that gets programmed to the controller like a firmware update sorta. After that you can take it and use it anywhere as a usb keyboard (I think that's how it works, you don't need anything running for it to be used; I've programmed it on one pc and taken it to another and still works as I set it up). But you do have to find something that fits in your hand well.

Gameguard fucks with Google Chrome for me. While Aion is tabbed, Chrome wont navigate to any pages.

Chrome works except you CANT open up any new tabs. Each tab you open creates a new instance of chrome.exe and gameguard doesn't like that. So if you preload 15 tabs prior to playing... those 15 tabs will work >.>;

firefox works.

chrome is just bad. I stopped using that shit when it would freeze up every time something flash would play.
