Ninja Assassin (2009)

Loved Ninja Assassin. It was exactly what I expected; lots of animated blood, camera shaking, and action scenes performed in the dark.

No honestly, it was a decent movie. I've read a lot of reviews hating exactly what I wrote above but, I believe it was all intentional (except for the camera shaking which is a bit much...)

This shit was pretty beastly, I didn't like the black chick though, she was like a bootleg version of the chick from Manchurian Candidate.

She was only a researcher, even acknowledges it, yet she's all up in the mix when they roll out to Japan in the final scene. Seemed a bit silly to me.

This movie was off the chain. Nobody just dies in this movie. They get freaking slaughtered. I agree with Meeze. The movie would have been better without the useless black chick.

Why do all the ninja's in this movie suck ass at fighting and being sneaky if they aren't in the lead? The chick was supposed to be competent according to the first few minutes of the movie but so far she just gets her ass kicked and has to be rescued by mighty whitey for every fight so far.
And now back to me watching the movie.

The extras were sliced open with fucking Katanas when the main characters weren't.
Even so only one of the people sent to guard the box was any good at being a ninja, two if you count the girl when she has a weapon (which means she's really stupid for not running around with one on her at all times). When you have an elite ninja squad protecting something they should at least have some competent ones as in plural. All that hardcore ninja training and their best guys other than mighty whitey only learned how to last 2 hits instead of 1 (which is actually pretty impressive considering said hits are the lethal instant kill ones)while the girl learned how to be in constant peril. It would have been a bit more interesting if the guys with the box lasted a few more fights so that we' start to actually care about em slightly. Basically what im saying is the skill gap should't have been so high for people all from the same dojo.

I know it's a movie. I'm probably just more used to better ones where everyone has half a brain perhaps? It's a bit sad when even cartoon characters use more common sense than a Elite ninja warrior. Also the bitch just fucking annoyed the crap out of me with her shittiness.

It's every martial arts film, thats why I'm not a big fan, but this one kept me entertained enough with the story, and I thought the blood was cool.

The plot was ludacris. The story totally predictable. The acting was wooden. But besides that, ohmigod, this movie was awesome! So many ninjas, sooooo many ninjas!

Pretty good movie, acting wasn't great and the plot was luddacris in some parts. I wasn't expecting so much blood and gore lol. Tbh I'm a little disapointed it didn't take itself that seriously.
